Pregnant at 18

Riley's POV 

I have been throwing up lately and my apatite has changed a little bit. My period has always been a little irregular so I can't trust that.  I'm maybe just sick or have got the flu. I'm just 18 years old and Lucas is 19, we are not ready to be parents. But to be sure I have to go to the pharmacy and buy a pregnancy test so I can be certain. I have to do it before Lucas comes home, he can not find out about it until I'm sure. 

What if he will leave me??? No he wouldn't do that... 

Later, after she had gone to the pharmacy 

Okey, time to find out. I take out three sticks and sit down on the toilet trying to pee, it only comes a few drops on each one, because I peed not to long ago, but it's enough. Then comes the agonizing two minutes you have to wait, so I sit and wait. Pip pip pip, the sticks sound and I look at the sticks, it has two lines which means I'm pregnant. 

I'm glad I'm gonna be a mother, I love children but what will Lucas say? Are we to young? Will I be able to take care of another human being, if Lucas leaves me? All of this questions are going or running through my mind, just as I hear Lucas coming thru the front door to our apartment yelling, Riley I'm home. I walk out to him and say with a lot of nervousness, I have to talk to you, maybe you should sit down. "I'm pregnant." It's okey if you want to leave me, I understand I say with a sad tone.

His reaction is not at all what I expected, first he looks chocked, but snaps out of it quickly and starts to hug me and at the same time he spins me around out of joy. 

Lucas POV 

When I open the door to our apartment I call for Riley to see if she is home. She comes to the hall and she looks like she wants to say something.

I'm beginning to wonder what she wants, so I do as she says and she looks very nervous. Then she says she is pregnant and I am very shocked first, but very happy. I feel like the happiest man alive and starts to hug her and spin her around out of joy. Then I put her down with the biggest smile on my face and I tell her I am the happiest man alive and that I love her so much. 

Riley's POV 

He told me he was the happiest man alive and that he loved me. With the biggest smile I have ever seen on his face, almost all my nervousness disappeared. 

"So you won't leave me"? I said. 

"No, why would I do that"? He said.

"Maybe because we are too young and you don't want that much responsibility this early in life? Or you don't want children? We are only 18 and 19 years old." I said.

" I love you too much to leave you and I will love this unborn child, just as much. When did you find out you are pregnant?" He said. 

"This afternoon. Maybe we should book an appointment with a doctor to see if the baby is healthy and how long in my pregnancy I am."I said

"Okey and yes I will call immediately." He said. 

At the doctor the next day

Riley, your baby looks healthy and you are 2 months in. We can't find out the gender this early, you have to come back again later to find out. The doctor said.

So after all Lucas didn't leave me and we had a healthy baby boy.
