Hiccstrid Relationship Release (short story)

Astrid's Parents

THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE:
Hiccup followed Astrid into her house on Berk for the first time, and felt nocuous since he's never met Astrid's parents before. "Mom! Dad! Hiccup's here!" Astrid yelled out. Astrid's mom came downstairs first. She had dirty blonde hair tied up into an extremely long braid and wore a purple shirt with a long brown skirt. Astrid's dad came down next and had a brown beard and brown hair. He wore a brown skirt and a black Berkian belt. He also had one of those wrist thingys (I don't know what there called lol!) and those long cloaks that start from around your waist like Stoick has. "Hello! It's a pleasure to finally meet you two" Hiccup said nervously to Astrid's parents". "Hello Hiccup. We've heard so much about you. Come over, take a seat, make yourself at home!" They told him. "Thanks" Hiccup said in return while they both went into the kitchen. "Astrid, does my dad know that I'll be staying here for supper?" Astrid giggled. "What?" He asked. "Hiccup, my parents wanted to meet you first, and then get to know you better at the party". Hiccup looked at Astrid's parents over in the kitchen. "So their not making dinner here?" He asked. Astrid shook her head. Astrid and Hiccup both turned to Astrid's parents who were probably talking about Hiccup or how he seems so far. They both walked towards Hiccup and Astrid in the living room. "So? What are you guys waiting for? Let's head out" Astrid's dad said. Hiccup and Astrid held up holding hands while the two parents in front of them started smiling at the sight. "That's a good sign" Hiccup thought to himself. They started heading to the great hall when all of a sudden, Stoick started walking towards Hiccup and Astrid once they got inside. Both of them looked nervous as hell! (Lol) "why do you two look so scared? Especially you Astrid, you never look scared" Astrid's mom asked them. Once Stoick was in front of them both, he lifted them both up giving them the tightest hug. "Welcome to the party you two!!" Stoick said still squeezing the life outta them. "That's why" the couple said being squished in Stoick's arms. The three parents start laughing and not long after, Stoick put them down and Hiccup and Astrid started gasping for air. "Well Stoick, I've never seen you THIS happy before! What got you in such a good mood?" "Wow mom, so many questions" Astrid said to her mother. "These two did! And I'm happy because I've never seen them both so happy. Especially Hiccup. Astrid's made him so happy I wish this happened a long time ago". Hiccup held Astrid's hand again and she laid her head onto his shoulder pad. The parents were smiling at them. "Astrid too" Said Astrid's mom. "I don't remember seeing her this happy in a long time. Hiccup, you must be taking good care of her". "Well, I love taking care of her. To me, it's like she's giving me a gift to spend more time with her than I usually do. You both must have raised her well too, because she's ready for anything that comes her way. I know that Astrid is a strong girl and has every right to be after what she's done for me, the gang and the rest of the people on Berk". Astrid smiled and blushed into his shirt while he put his arms around her. Astrid's parents looked at each other and smiled. "You know what Hiccup?" Hiccup looked towards Astrid's father. "Yes sir?" He said back to him. "You've definitely shown us that you are capable of taking care of her and looking after her after everything you've told us. You sound like you care about her, more than any other person that wanted to be with her and you know what's right from wrong. Hiccup, me and my wife give you our blessing". Hiccup and Astrid smiled at each other and hugged. The rest of the night there was supper, dancing and people getting to know each other (obviously Hiccup and Astrid's parents). Astrid and Hiccup spent a lot of time together that night and gad a great time. Once everyone was heading back to their houses, Hiccup and Astrid said good night to each other and kissed firmly before going home ...

That's all for today! The trip I'm going on is coming up pretty soon so I might just write one or two more chapters and then end this story since I'll be gone for ten days. Bye for now!👋👋👋
