GARRETT'S POV
I kept thinking about Nalia.I wish I got to know her better.I got over myself and made my way to my campus from the coffee shop where I encountered Nalia.
While I was in class I felt someone staring at me.I looked over my shoulder and saw her again.I felt a sense of relief come over me.
The professor had dismissed us.I stood after and asked the professor for the next days assignment since I wasn't going to be at school.She nodded and went to get the assignments from her office.Nalia was just about to walk out of the class room before I stopped her.
"Nalia...wait"
She kept her same pace before I grabbed her wrist gently and turned turned her to face me.Her head was down.I let go if her wrist and picked her head up and connected our eyes. I built up the courage to ask for her number.
She blushed deeply and hid her face.I smiled knowing I had this effect on her.
"Can I see your phone?" She giggled lightly
I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and handed it to her.She added her number and handed my phone back before walking out of the room.I grabbed my assignments from the professor and walked out of the room.
-later that night- Garrett- Hey
Nalia- I'mgonna take a wild guess and assume this is Garrett.
Garrett- ding ding ding
Nalia- what's up Garrett 😂
Garrett- well.....
We continued to talk all night about eachother. She's a great person.She just moved here from Colorado.That would explain why I've never seen her at school. She's studying photo journalism here in LA. She's currently looking for a job to help with bills. She likes to adventure on her free time. She reads a lot and writes.She's very different from other people she's very open minded and sees the good in everyone.She told me she's never read a Harry Potter book or movie...even though she has always wanted to.
NALIA'S POV
Garrett and I talked all night.The conversation didn't end till 4am and I couldn't imagine talking to anyone else.
He is so kind and optimistic.He loves meeting new people and always has a smile on his face.He isn't afraid to show his true self.He's very smart and adventurous.He's also a huge fan of Harry Potter.He's Memphis Tennessee and has a brother named Andrew.He was studying filmmaking.I aspire to be as open as him.He then asked me if I wanted to go on an adventure to take a break and I of course said yes.
