NALIA'S POV Today is the date with Garrett and I'm really nervous about it. As close as we have gotten, he has an affect on me. It scares me to fall for someone so quick.
I get out of my thoughts and walk past all of my unpacked boxes to get to my kitchen
I dug through my box if food and got the cereal I then reached into the fridge and pulled in the milk out before grabbing a spoon and eating.
It was still the the weekend so I watched YouTube and waited for Garrett to tell me what time to be ready by.
I decided to get in the shower before getting ready.
Once I stepped out my phone rang,I read the caller ID and answered.
"Hey gar"
"Hey nal"
Awe a nickname
" I was calling because I got ready for the date and didn't tell you to get ready..sorry...andimparkedoutsidesorry"
I giggled"do you just want to hang out here until I'm ready?"
"Yea... sorry"
"Don't be sorry....just come in."
"On my way" And with that he hung up and 5 minutes later her was knocking on my door.
I opened the door to reveal a very smiley Garrett. I looked him and down admiring his outfit.
He wore a leather jacket with jeans.(the outft from the makeover video.)
"New look?"
"Kind of... Shane and I were filmimg a makeover video for me and this is the outfit so I just wore it for the date."
"Ohh...well make yourself at home and sorry about all the boxes"
He kept his gaze on me for a few seconds.
"Wait what?"
I looked at myself and remembered that I was only in a towel.
I rushed into my room and looked for an outfit.
I found a pair of high waisted skinny jeans,a white tank top and a long,yarn cardigan.
Garrett was being awfully quiet.I went to see where he was.
"Garrett?"
I looked at the couch and he was sleeping peacefully.He was lightly snoring and his chest was slightly moving up and down.
I jumped on top of him and he was completely awake.He glared at me and then smiled.
"Come in my room so we can talk while I get ready."
"Carry Mee"
I grabbed his outreached hand and pulled him off the couch and walked him to my room.
"Sorry about the mess.. I'm still unpacking."
"Well we don't have class tomorrow...I'll help if you want."
"As much as I like that...it's okay"
He whispered something inaudible so I shrugged and continued doing my hair and makeup.
We talked and talked until I was ready to go.I slid on some booties and we went to Garrett's car.
"Okay so you have to wear this..." He held up a blindfold and searched for an answer.
"Kinky"I laughed
He laughed loudly and I allowed him to blindfold me before we drove off.
His hand was lingering around mine as if he was nervous to grab it.
So I grabbed his hand...a strange confidence was buliding in me and I didn't question it until I placed his hand on my thigh.
I could tell he was a little SHOOK because he jumped a bit.
I giggled again"sorry"
"It's fine,just a little unexpected"
GARRETT'S POV
I showed up to Nalias a little fast but I couldn't wait.
She answered her door with nothing but a towel and a huge smile.As much as I wanted to keep looking I didn't want to seem like...THAT.
She said something but I was in a trance.
She realized she was basically naked and quicky ran to her room.
I settled on her couch and instantly fell asleep.
I woke up to an instant mas on top of me and I opened my eyes to see Nalia, beautiful as ever smiling in my face. I jokingly glared at her before smiling back at her.
She wanted me to go into her room but I was so lazy.
She pulled me up by my hand and pulled me into her room.
"Sorry about the mess.. I'm still unpacking."
"Well we don't have class tomorrow...I'll help if you want."
"As much as I like that...it's okay"
"I'm gonna do it anyways"I said under my breath.
She shrugged her shoulders and continued doing her hair.Then her makeup,she doesn't wear a lot from what I've seen but she has a lot of it.She certainly doesn't need it.
We got into the car after having one our long conversations.I wanted the date to be a surprise so I had to blindfold her.
"Kinky" she laughed
I laughed too and placed it around her head and eyes.
During the drive I wanted to hold her hand but I didn't want to seem to fast or make her feel wierd.I was nervous around her.
After my hand made its way near her she quickly grabbed it but she slowly moved my hand on to her thigh. I was surprised by her actions at first but let it be.
I made my way to the carnival.
