They are born from a human mother who was tricked into conceiving a child with a demon. When giving birth to the child, the mother will most often die. Their magic is given to them from their demonic parent. Warlocks have a demon mark on them which identifies them as unearthly. This mark can be an unusual eye colour, skin colour or a mark on their skin.
