Author's Note:
Sorry for the late update my beatiful readers, it's just that online summer school had bored me down to the point where I couldn't think of anything creative and good for my story. I want to thank you for patiently waiting for this chapter. Though I feel like this chapter was poorly done for my lack of creativity. It may not be the best but enjoy this chapter.
The picture is a quote of Yong Guk's that is in this chapter.
Last of all, I want to thank my readers for all of the support up unitl now. And since I did not know how to dedicate this chapter to one of my reader, I will just mention her on this poorly written author's note
With lots of love, thank you to AngelicaDemona for the support!!!!
[Yong Guk's POV]
I woke up from a nightmare only to wake up into another nightmare. We have been in this dark room for who knows how long. I look up into the light and wince from the pain of the brightness. My throat was dry and my head was throbbing with pain. The ropes were cutting into my wrist, leaving a red mark every time I move. Ugh....pain is all I feel at this moment.
Once all of the white speck cleared from my vision, I saw that Narae was watching me closely. But when she saw that I was fine so she turned her head towards the door where a big man was standing there guarding us.
"Is it breakfast yet?" Narae ask so childlike and innocent.
Though she did not find it weird that she was asking for food in a situation like this, I thought it was odd until I heard my own stomach growl.
"Shouldn't you guys at least feed us?" I said hoping to get something out of asking. "I mean the better condition we are in the more ransom money you get from her dad." I said knowing that it was all a lie.
"Yeah, exactly what he said." She said playing along with lie.
"HUH!!! You guys talk too much for being in a situation like this. Fine, I will let the master know then." He said as he walked out the door.
"Good morning!" She said smiling to me.
"Good morning? Yeah, because waking up and realizing that you were kidnapped is a good morning." I said to her happy comment.
"Just because we are in a bad place doesn't mean we turn cold like it and lose hope right?" She said it as if she had lived through these moments more than once.
"Were you like that?" I said looking deeply into her eyes, having the urge to pull and hold her in my arms, but then I forgot that my hands were tied up.
"What do you mean?" She said but her attention was now on the guy carrying us food.
"Here is your food." The big man said as he set it between Narae and my lap.
"Aren't you going to feed us? Remember, our hand is tied up." Narae said as she lift her hands up to show him.
"My master said that you have to feed yourselves or don't get any food at all." He talked to us as if we were some kids to him.
"Great. Now what?" I said leaning back into the chair.
"Let's take turn feeding each other, DUH!! If my hands were not tied up, I would smack you in the back of your head."
"Fine fine fine, calm down." I grabbed the spoon and fed her the rice and then this green looking vegetable that I have never seen before.
Within minutes we were stuff with just enough and the plates were completely empty.
