Chapter 3: Time for Change

[Narae's POV]

I was so scared, I didn't know if it was just a dream or if it was real. I turn back to face the street. I pinched myself a couple of time but I couldn't tell if it was real or a dream because I sometimes have vivid dreams.

I turned to look at him and he stared back at me as if he was the grim reaper staring into your soul. I was so scared I started to shake uncontrollably.

But a voice comforted me.

¨Yong Guk Hyung!¨ Daehyun screamed out.

My heart started pounding against my rib cage threatening to pop out. I forgot all about Yong Guk who was standing behind me because in front of me was my guardian angel. He smiled at me causing me to smile back. I swear every time I am alone with Yong Guk he is always there to break the tension.

¨Jangmi called and said that she is almost here with Seo Hwa.¨ He said in soft yet strong firm voice.

He stood there with Yong Guk while the others came out. As they pass me they gave me a smile which I couldn't do anything but smile back. They were so different compare to Yong Guk.

After a couple minutes of waiting, Jungmi and Seo Hwa arrived looking as pretty as always without even trying. Sometimes I wonder if we are friends since they were so different from me.

We went inside and paid at the entrance and enter into a room. Everyone got a seat except for me so I was force to sit on an arm of the chair near Daehyun and Yong Guk.

The arm of the chair was higher than my butt so I had to jump on to land perfectly on the arm but slipped up and ended up landing on Daehyun and my head landed on Yong Guk's lap. He just stared down at me with total disgust on his face which made me want to shrink away until I was not visible.

But soon I forgot all about him because Daehyun grabbed me by the waist and lifted me up to sit on his lap which cause my cheeks to turn velvet red. Jungmi and Seo Hwa was smiling and elbowing each other in the rib as they stare at me.

¨Are you okay?¨ Ask Daehyun with a worry face and a concern look in his eyes that cause my heart to skip a beat.

¨Y-yeah.¨ I finally said while blinking into his eyes.

After a half an hour of sitting and listening to them sing, I finally got bored and was about to leave but Daehyun got up and told me to go sing with him since we were the only two that did not sing yet. We sang decided to choose a more upbeat and energetic song since everyone else sang sad songs. After singing and laughing along with Ooh Ooh by Eric Nam, I totally forgot about the presence of Yong Guk.

Once we finished, Jangmi took the microphone and talked to us.

¨Okay so I should probably tell the truth to Narae. The only reason we came to hang out is because I wanted you to apologize to Yong Guk for what had happened this morning so that you can have a good ending of senior year.¨ She said with a caring face which caused me to stare at her in disbelief. I mean I understood as to what she is trying to do but we all know that he will NEVER stop tormenting me!!!

¨So Narae can you come up and apologize to Yong Guk?" She said to me which sounded more like a statement rather than a question.

I went up anyways and took the other microphone. As I stared at the others, their attention was all on me and when my eyes landed on Yong Guk he was smirking. I stopped and thought for a long while. If I want this to be the most memorable last year of high school why not stand up for myself for once right? I mean yeah school is about to end and it is a bit late to stand up for myself but here goes nothing and I know I will have to pay for the consequences later but for once who cares.

I went up there, not knowing what I was about to say.

I slowly and lowly laughed, my imagination only caused my laughter to get louder and out of control.

Like I said earlier, I have vivid daydreaming, so sometimes stuff that goes on in my head makes me think that it is actually happening. But we all know I just made myself seem crazy in front of everyone, even Daehyun!

I just shook it off and gave Yong Guk a smirk and walked through the door like a boss.

I didn't even stop to look at their reactions.

[Yong Guk's POV]

I smirked as she got up looking hopeless. I was so glad to see her like this but when her eyes met mine there was something different that I could not pin down exactly what it was.

She started to laugh like a crazy person which really got everyone's attention.

Was she on drug or something?

The only thing that confused me even more was that she turned to smirk at me and then left. Just like that. As if she hadn't done anything idiotic.

Everyone was shocked that they didn't know what to do.

I didn't even know if I was suppose to be mad.
