The doctor had Mary handcuffed and took her out to the car. Made her take some pills. She stumbled into the van and the pills began to take effect. She forced herself to stay awake. This was all a mistake, I'm not crazy. Although her mind was weak from the pills, she knew they were going in the wrong direction. The mental institution was in the hospital. And they were heading to the outskirts of town. This is the last thing she remembered before the pills finally took full effect.

.........

When she opened her eyes, the lights shining directly at her were blinding. When her eyes adjusted, she looked around and saw four cinder block walls, bloodstained and clawed on. She looked down and saw her hands tied to the arms of a chair, legs the same. She had a gag in her mouth and an empty syringe lay on the table in front of her. The "doctor" walked in with a kit of surgical tools and laid them on the table, next to the syringe. He told her not to yell, then he pointed to the surgical tools. She nodded, knowing that she was too scared to scream. He removed the gag and asked her,

"What do you know about the woman you saw on the street?"

"She was standing there, it was the first time I ever saw her-that I remember at least." She said, voice very shaky.

"What did she look like?"

"Brown hair down to her shoulders. Big eyes. Regular height. Wearing a torn up white dress."

He walked away and left Mary in the bloodstained room.

"She knows too much now. We can't let her go."
