Mary nodded and looked at the key. She walked over to Alex and showed him.
"Andi got the key."
"Damn, that's great, I'll go tonight. When their sleeping."
"You can't go by yourself. I'm going with you."
"No you aren't. I'm gonna have to break into the office. To get the keys. The other doors are locked. And when I unlock them, I'll come get you two."
Mary looked at the camera on the wall outside the cell. He reassured her that he'd take care of that. Told her what to do if they came. She nodded and they waited, together. The light from the small window slowly dimmed, and Alex checked to make sure his sister was asleep, put their pillows under his blanket and made it somewhat resemble a person, and told her to turn the light off and try to get some sleep. He ran down the hallway of cells and to the door. He tried to open the door, but like everything that's happened to them, it can't be that easy. He took two steps back and rammed his shoulder into the door. It slammed open and hit the wall. He quickly looked around and no one seemed to be coming. He stepped inside and looked around. That's when Mary lost sight of him. She went and laid on her bed. He'll be fine, he'll be fine. Mary was lost in her thoughts until Andi broke the silence, asking, "where's Alex?"
"He's uh," she thought about lying so she wouldn't worry. "he went to unlock the doors so we can leave. He'll be right back."
Andi curse under her breath, shook her head and laid back down. She pulled the blanket over her head and pulled her legs to her chest. Clearly she was scared about Alex being gone. Alex moved through the room, looking for the keys, and ended up finding a door. He went to put his ear against it and listened. He heard the doorknob turn and the door quickly open.
