Never Be Alone

Part Two

I woke up with a slight pain in my back due to the fact that I forgot to change into a pair of pajamas

I fell asleep with Junie lain on my chest and my arm around Acai who had been upset about what all happened

I tried to push last night's events out of my head

Today was a new day and I needed to get a move on it

I got myself ready for school I was running late however

I got up carefully to not wake the baby

I put Junie's clothes in a bag

And woke Acai up for school

We left as quietly as possible

Their door was locked and I wasn't planning on opening it

I got the carseat of out the closet and strapped him in the back as Acai climbed in putting on her shoes

I drove her to school

She changed schools this year since she was in fourth grade and the elementary level is k to 3

She unbuckled her seatbelt and hopped out wishing me a good day

"Bye Quinn, love you have fun at school.."

"Bye bye! I love you have a good day."

She closed the car door walking to the entrance

I thought hard not knowing what to do with Juniper

I drove out of the parking lot dialing Kyra

"Hello?"

"Yeah, Kyra"

"Is your Mama at home?"

"No she just left town again," she said, "but what's up?"

"What about Mr. Evans is he at home?"

"No he at work, why you need to know?"

"I need someone to keep my little brother."

"Where is yo' mama at?"

"Oh my god kyra! I'll tell you later I need your help before I'm late for school!"

"Go to my house Lisa should be there, she'll be in town for a few days."

"Thank you,"

I hung up and called Lisa

"You need for me to do what?!"

"Can you please help me? My parents are on bad terms right now."

"Ughh okay but I don't know how to take care of a baby,"

"He's like one now,"

"Okay bring him over."

I dropped him at Kyra's and headed to school

At lunch I talked to Kyra a while her boyfriend Jason listened silently

"So.. your mom cheated on your dad while he was gone, and she had a baby that wasn't his, and he found out?"

"Yeah.."

"Damn," Jason hopped in the conversation

"She wrong, my daddy don't worship my mom the way yo' dad worships Elaine"

Jason laughed putting his head in his hands

"Will y'all shut the hell up?! This is not funny!"

"I'm sorry," Said Kyra,"where is she now."

"I don't know I didn't see her today."

I thought she had just gone to work

"Well I'm sorry about that." Jason said

"Whatever" I spoke as the bell rang

I left school not wondering about much

Acai looked sort of down when I picked her up from school

I tried asking what happened but she didn't answer

I picked up Junie and he seemed to not have had any problems with Lisa

I'm going to end here and start working on the next chapter
I will try to make them more interesting but I'm trying to focus on the style of writing I'm using also
