Pine was back at the starting point, Karl had left us. We kept going through the choreographed fight, with the punching and the ducking. By the time we finished every part of  me was tired and sore. Pine flopped over on the mats next to me, both of us  out of breath and covered in sweat.
"Jesus, how long have we been at that?" He remarked, staring up at the ceiling.
"I have no idea, not wearing a watch." How the hell am I going to get up off this mat, screw it someone throw me a blanket.
"Fine, I'll go check." He groaned, rolling over to his feet. He walked over to his back pulling his cell phone out. " four straight hours."
"Only four?" Felt like six. Or seven, are you sure it's not tomorrow?
"Yeah, we should probably get going. Unless you're planning on sleeping on those mats." He stated, putting his hands on his hips looking at me.
"Oh, yeah. That would be a good idea." I sighed, still not moving. "Think you could me help out though, gravity has sucked me into the mats and I can't get out."
He walked over to me extending his hand, pulling me back to my feet. I groaned as soon I was standing, wishing I hadn't decided to go off script with fight. I managed to make to my car without dropping dead, or the drive home without careening into oncoming traffic.

"So kid, how are we going to get your sister and tom together?" Mr. Smooth as whiskey asked, handing me over a coffee in the make up trailer.
"Coffee first, plotting later." I mumbled, taking the first sip, letting the caffeine hit my tired soul.
"I was thinking." He started, don't normal people realize the intimate relationship I had with coffee. I mean come on, coffee has never let me down, it doesn't talk while the brain won't work.
"That sounds dangerous." I groan, tilting my head.
"Come on, you haven't even heard my plan." He stated, grinning at me as he sat in the chair next to me.
"How come I have a feeling it's like 12% of a plan." I replied, rolling my head to finally look a him. He feigned a hurt look bringing his hand to chest.
"You have doubt in my match making skills?" He asked, wide eyed. "You haven't even heard it yet."
"Okay, fine what is your plan?" I sighed.
"Nope, now I'm not going to tell you." He stated, brushing an imaginary tear from his eye.
"Oh my god, seriously?" He was not just going to keep this up.
"Come on lay it on me. I'm listening." I turned to face him fully, leaning forward in the chair.
"You sure?" He gave me a suspicious eye.
"Would you just tell me?" I watched as his eyes lit up and he turned, leaning forward on his elbows. I'm sure we looked like proper conspirators by this point.
"Alright, so here's the plan." He whispered his eyes locked on to mine. "You get your sister, and I'll get Tom. And then we put them in a room."
"And?" I asked, waiting for him to finish.
"That's it." He said, with a smirk.
"Oh my god, you idiot. What do you want to do, lock them in a broom closet? That's not even 12% of a plan, that's like negative 12000% a plan. I might as well just tape them together." I sprang from my spot, out of all dumb plans I've heard that one was the worst. That's even worse then my half cocked plan that landed me here.
"Do you have any better ideas?" He asked, leaning back in his chair. "You have been trying to plot as well right?"
"I haven't had time to think of a good plot." I responded as Pine walked in.
"What plot?" He asked, looking from me to Karl.
"The one to get her sister and Tom together." Karl replied, turning himself to look at our Captain.
"Yeah, how's the planning going?" He asked, crossing his arm, already dressed as Kirk.
"Wonderful, the good doctors brilliant idea was to put them in a room together." I relayed him Karl's plan, rolling my eyes, leaning up against the wall.
"What was the rest?" Pine asked, looking over at Karl.
"It's more then either of you have." Karl retorted, evidently I had to be the brains of the operation here cause if I waited for these two we'd been better off playing spin the bottle. Hmmm, maybe, no. That'd be worse then his idea.
"I'll think of something, just give me a bit, okay? I generally find a half baked idea that sometimes works." I say, walking to the door of the make up trailer. "Give me twenty four hour to come up with an idea."
"You got it, and you better come back with something to blow ours socks off." Karl smirked, giving me a wink. That man was going to drive me crazy, but at least I was going to enjoy my decent to madness.

Later I was sitting at a table, picking at my food, when felt a presences behind me. Casually I looked up from my phone.
"Either death has come for me or there is some one behind me." I stated, slowly looking over my shoulder.
"Death will not come for you this day." Karl announced sitting down next to me, putting his food in front of him. "So thought of anything?"
"Yes, but most of them involve my lines and fighting." I'm not that great at multitasking, but thanks for thinking so.
"You've had a couple hours to think." He elbowed me in the rips, making me realize he had been joking.
"Ha ha, you better watch it old man." I quipped, giving him a wicked grin.
"Oh, or you'll do what?" He shot me a devilish smirk.
"I'll suggest a double date." The thought slipped out of mouth before I had time to really even think what I was saying. His face lit up as he placed his hand on my fore arm. Oh crap, oh crap, abort mission.
"That's the perfect idea, blind double date. I'll bring Tom and you bring Rosalyn." Crap, abort mission, this is not what I had meant to say. I mean sure, yeah, I get to spend time with him off set but, I didn't mean like this.
"Are you sure Tom would even go for that?" I asked, suddenly doubtful. Hoping maybe Tom would back out, I knew if I uttered out the word blind or double or date my sister would freak out.
"Hell yeah." His excitement poured from him. I was a dead woman, as if signing her up for the BBQ wouldn't of been bad enough, now I'm putting her up to a double date.
"Please tell me, how on earth we are going to get him to come along." I asked, trying to figure which part of the country to do witness protection in.
"I just won't tell him it's a double date. Just say hey, wanna go grab some beers with you and then drag your sister with us." He calmly stated beaming as he shove a handful of food into his mouth.
"That sounds simple enough." Except my sister doesn't trust me and will start asking a million and one question the moment I ask her to go for drinks with me. And if I managed to get her there then she'll kill me, throwing me in the river or serve me for lunch at her work. "Let's do it."
