As soon as the bell rang, I ran to my locker. Matt wasn't there. I said but carried on running.
I finally arrived. I looked around but no Matt, so I sat down and scrolled through twitter.
A few minutes later, I heard Matt's laugh. I looked hopefully and sighed when I saw Bobby's face giggling too.
I stood up as Matt placed his arm round her waste.
"Hey Amber." He smiled, there he goes with 'Amber' again.
"Hey Matthew." I smiled back sarcastically. Matt gave me a strange and confused look.
"Well... This is-" I cut him off.
"Bobby. Hi I'm Amber Kinely." I shook her hand. Wow, good grip.
Bobby started talking about her 'Inspirational' journey. I got REALLY bored so I turned away and ran up a tree.
This wasn't any tree, it was our tree. As I climbed up, I saw little messages that me and Matt had put on there years before.
I recognised messages like 'Matt and Amby are Besties forever' and 'MLE+AGRK=BFFLZ'.
When I reached the top, I noticed a message. It read 'Matt ❤️s Ambs'. I sat there and glared at it for a while.
I scanned around the tree, and eventually found a twig. I edited the ❤️ so it was a 💔.
"Hey! Why are you acting like such a bitch!" Matt screamed up the tree. I looked at him then clambered down.
"Maybe... If you weren't being such a dick... I wouldn't have to be." I pushed him back. He stood there in disbelief.
"Hey, It was nice meeting you." I smiled at Bobby and stormed off. She smiled and waved as I walked home.
I ran home. Not looking back.
"Hey Ma, I'm home." I shouted as I dumped my bag on the front step. She 'Hey'ed back.
I walked into the kitchen, and grabbed an apple. "Where's Allie?" I asked. My mom sighed as Allie came screaming down the stairs.
"AAHHHH! I got into... DENKEROAKS!" She screamed.
"Denkeroaks?" Me and Mom asked in unison. "Wait.... Denkeroaks art school?" I realised.
Allie nodded, and I got up and jumped up into her arms.
"Well done Allie. But that means... No more child benefits.." My mom sighed.
"So?" We both looked at her.
"Isn't Denkeroaks in North Carolina?" She looked at Allie, and Allie nodded. "That means we're gonna have to move to Indiana." She sighed.
"With auntie Deliylah." I asked. She nodded. "When you living?" I continued.
"Saturday." She stuffed a doughnut in her mouth.
"SATURDAY!" Me and Mom shouted!
