I sat there waiting. Just waiting. I hung my head low as I waited for answer. As I did so, I kept replaying Cameron's words in my head.

'Take care of it. Of the baby.'

What baby? Yeah we did it a couple of weeks ago, but I used protection. A soft gentle touch, caressed my shoulder. I looked up to find Audrey standing over me.

"H-he didn't make it sugar." She held back the tears. I dropped. I fell out of the chair and dropped to the floor.

"WHY!" I screamed up at the ceiling. "TAKE ME! LEAVE HIM! I screamed again. Audrey then burst out in tears.

"I-I'll call that boy to pick you up." She left. I sat on the floor staring out the window.

"S-so many people and you chose him. What had he done. EH?!" I screamed. "Well guess what. Fuck. You." I put my middle finger up to the sky and sat back down.

"I-I came a-as soon as I h-heard." Matt came running down the corridor. "Is it true?" Matt stood there in belief. I nodded slowly not making contact.

One by one I called all of the boys and told them the news. It pained me the most when I called up his mom.

"Hey Amber. Everything okay at the hospital?" She asked.

"Hey G-gina. He woke up?" I replied with a glint of faith in my voice.

"He's awake! MY BABIES AWAKE." She yelled.

"No. He woke up." I emphasised the word 'woke.'

"What do you mean Hun. I'm not catching on." She had a hint of nervous in his voice.

"Cameron woke up.. An-and then told me he was tired." I paused. "Of living." I could hear her break down.

"He explained that it pained him to stay alive." I continued as she began to sob.

"He's gone. HES GONE!" She screamed. "HES GONE!" She repeated. "NO. NO. NO. PLEAAASE CAMERON PLEASEEEE!" She screamed.

The last thing I heard was her cursing to The Lord out loud.

I broke down in hysterics.

"It's my fault." I sat in the chair as my face streamed with tears.

"It's not y-" Matt was cut off.

"If I didn't lean in to kiss him, he would still be here. He would of never him that truck." I sobbed as Matt touched my shoulder.

I looked up at him and then stood up.

"Is it true Matt?" I looked into his eyes.

"Is what true?" He asked.

"Do you love me Matt." I intwined his hands with mine.

"Yes."

"Because I love you too." I grabbed the other hand.

"I'll keep you safe." He smiled.

"Promise?" I asked.

"Promise." Matt smiled. And with that, we left.
