I walked over to my closet. Examining what to wear. Tonight was the night of Jake Dallas' party. I sighed and grabbed a cute outfit. (A/N Check On Insta @promise_fanfiction).

I got dressed, and then sat on my bed on my phone.

"Amber! We gotta go!" Allie shouted as she stormed up the stairs.

"Okay I'm just procing!" I replied, and Allie gave me and confused look. "It's short for procrastinating. Me and Matt made it up in 6th Grade." I smiled.

"Stop! How many times, Matt's Is M-" I cut her off.

"Yours! I know. You tell me everyday. Me and Matt are best friends. That's it." I completely regretted what I said because I didn't know what we were.

"Matt told me that he doesn't like you! Now come on!" She screamed yanking me down stairs. My heart broke. My best friend doesn't like me.

It all started in 6th Grade!

* Flashback *

"Your sister takes forever!" Matt laughed. I nodded. I didn't know why she was taking forever! It's just Ashley birthday party.

"Allie, Hunny. C'mon!" My mom yelled up the stairs, then my mom got into the car.

My sister strutted down the stairs and Matt's mouth dropped.

"Matt, You're gonna let flies in." I nudged him and giggled only so he could here. Matt closed his mouth stood up straight.

"Hey Allie... You look beautiful." Matt stared. He walked over to her and walked with her to the car.

I called shotgun, but I regret it because I herd giggles, and stuff like that!

"Awww. You two look like a couple." My mom looked in the rear view mirror, and smiled. It made me fuming with anger, because the night before Allie said she hated Matt.

"That's because we are Mommy." Allie giggled. I turned back to Matt, who had gone bright red from blushing. I mouthed to him 'Your And Idiot.'

He just looked back at me in a pretend offended way which always made me giggled.

* End Of Flashback *

"She's coming now Matty." My sister pulled me down the stairs.

"What took so long." He scoffed.

"I was procing." I replied, but got an evil look from Allie. "I mean procrastinating." I smiled weekly. He nodded then lead us out the house.

Allie was wearing something that should never been seen on a 13 year old. (A/N check Insta for it.) but she said it was fine, she had flats in her bag.

When we got to his house, I walked a bit in front of them, so I wouldn't be centre of attention.

Luckily, it worked. But then I was greeted by Jake with two glasses in his hand.

"Ambs, You made it." He smiled and passed me a glass. I gave him a nervous look. "It's okay! 3.. 2... 1... CHUG!" We both downed the cup.

"Thanks! Can I get another?" I felt myself getting dizzy and walked to Maddie.

"Maddie..." I slurred. Making her turn round from her former chat.

"Amber? Are you drunk?" Maddie laughed.

"Yup... B-But don't worry." I patted her shoulder. "I'm 14 in a week!" I whispered loudly.

"Well. I gotta go home. Family stuff. I'll text you later? Okay?" She asked patting me on my back and I nodded.

Once she left, I turned around bumping into Matt. He looked at me confused.

"S'cuse. I gotta use the little girls room." I ran to the bathroom. He followed Matt. I puked my guts put as Matt held my hair back.

"I'm gonna find Jake." I smiled
