Miraculous Marichat - Rejection and Sin

Rejection - Part 1

Ladybug and Chat Noir sprinted around Paris, no yo-yo or staff to help them.

"You can't run Ladybug and Chat Noir," the Dreamer, their current akuma screeched, "You will give me your miraculous!"

"What are we supposed to do Ladybug?" Chat Noir yelped, frantically trying to dodge the Dreamer's arrows.

"I don't know! I didn't get a change to get a Lucky Charm before Dreamer took my yo-yo!" Ladybug was mad beyond thought, seeing as it was Chat's fault that her yo-yo had been taken in the first place. He had shoved her right before she could use her Lucky Charm, making it fall from her hand. Dreamer had taken it and refused to give it back, so now they were stuck with no Lucky Charm, and no way out of this little predicament. "We don't even know where the akuma's hiding!" cried Ladybug.

"It has to be in the pillow case on their back!" Chat  shrieked, dodging yet another arrow. "It has all of their arrows. It's the source of their power!"

Suddenly, Chat stopped running, leaving a confused Ladybug to run for a second or two before she realized he wasn't following her. "Chat?" She called, looking back.

Instead, he was running at the Dreamer, Cataclysm activated and at the ready.

"Chat, No!" Ladybug shrieked. Dreamer shoot five arrows simultaneously, and was caught off guard when Chat jumped, dodging them all, and landed behind them. Before they could turn their head, the pillow case on their back had turned to ash. As the akuma flew away, Dreamer detransformed into a small child, barely 10 years old, fast asleep in the middle of the street.

"Quick Chat! The yo-yo!" In rush, Chat took the yo-yo and tossed to at ladybug, hoping they weren't too late.

"Time to devilise!" Ladybug shouted frantically, swinging her yo-yo at the dark purple butterfly.

The yo-yo swiped nearly an inch away from the butterfly before swinging back, allowing the akuma to disappear into the night.

As her yo-yo dropped onto her head, the superhero growled at the akuma fluttering away into the darkness of the night.

"Ladybug," Chat whispered, stepping towards her, "Before you say anything, I am so sor-"

"I don't want to hear it Chat!" Ladybug yelled at him. Chat recoiled, shocked at his partner's tone of voice. She had never done that to him, not in the year they had fought akuma's together. Despite his relentless flirting, his terrible puns, and his constant insisting that they reveal each other's identity's, she had never raised her voice at him like that.

So what had he done?

He asked her that very same question, and she set off ranting about everything he was doing wrong, everything he knew he'd done, and everything he knew she never liked, she used to build on her argument. after a fair five minutes, she settled down and uttered the most heartbreaking words he'd heard in a while, and that was something coming from Adrien Agreste.

"I wish you'd just give up already, because we both now you had no chance with me to begin with."

"You aren't good enough."

This is my first Wattpad piece, so BE GENTLE. The sin will be coming in chapter three, but next chapter is Marinette getting her heart broken.

I will be adding more words in each chapter after Rejection Parts 1 and 2 are done, because these two are more like a two parted prologue.
