~Marinette~

So I lied. I have not forgiven Adrien for completely embarrassing me and being so mean. But I didn't want him to feel so guilty. I mean, he looked so upset when he apologized.

When today's Akuma came, I rushed to find Tikki, who was apparently asleep under the many layers of discarded fabric and thread, before I transformed and launched myself into the sky to find Chat. I found him on the Effiel Tower, his brow furrowed, and his muscles tense as he stares at the Akuma recking havoc on Paris.

"Chat! What are you doing?" I shout at the statue-like superhero.

~Chat Noir~

I lied. I hadn't forgiven Ladybug. She had completely destroyed not only my self-esteem but my ego and pride too.

So when the Akuma came, I was just thinking about the whole incident, laying on the Effiel Tower. All I could do was look at it. I couldn't move. All I could think about was confronting Ladybug in my current state.

"You stupid cat! People are getting hurt! Why are you just watching!?" Speak of the devil.

I turned around to see an enraged Ladybug, her eye obviously twitching under her mask, and a vein clearly bulging out od her forehead.

"Waiting for you my l- Ladybug." I had forgotten. She wasn't my lady. Old habits are hard to break. Ladybug was clearly caught off guard by the sudden change of names, but she brushed it off before I could blink.

"You should have saved the people! Innocent people are getting hurt because of you! Waiting for me should be your last thought!" I couldn't react. She sounded the same as when she had yelled at me last.
