The Strange Unknown

I woke up in a hut of some kind, I sat up and touched my head to scratch it to find it fixed and put up neatly and tight with white Lilies, Daisies, and bright red Roses. The reason I knew what color they were is that I had took three of them out to see what they were. I put them back in the same places; I stood up, I looked at what I was wearing. It was the Blood dress and some deep red gloves that reached up to my elbow. I started to look around the hut cautiously, taking small steps; I soon came to what looked like a living room. There were four men sitting on the floor around a small short table, one of them was Vince. They all looked at me. He stood up in respect and said, “You’re still beautiful as ever Lulu.” He could tell I was angry by my eyes again, I said, “Don’t you give me that crap, Vincent! I’m the person you--”He had walked over to me and shut me up with one of his kisses and hugged me. “Please, forgive me of what I said. I was just frustrated, angry, and a bit scared. I didn’t mean it… please, forgive me.” As he said it, he started to hold me tighter; I think he was starting to cry.

I stood there. My anger had subsided and a neutral feeling had come. I hugged him back; my mind went blank. “I forgive you. Just try not to do that again.” He could not help but laugh just a little. He let go and looked at me, smiling, I wiped away the tears from his eyes, and one of the men came over to us, looked at Vince, and said, “I don’t want to interrupt but, we had a deal. We find your wife, you help fight against the evil forces that are raging against us. We found her, so you must do what we ask.” I punched the man in the jaw and he fell onto the table breaking it where he had fallen. The other two stood up quickly with spears with very sharp objects unidentifiable on the ends. “Crimson, please stop!” I walked up slowly fearlessly to the other two men and grabbed the middle of their long spears and with just a flex of a single muscle, the spears snapped in half. I turned them to the floor and stabbed the ground. The three men in awe, the two men dropped the broken spears and bowed down to me as if I was their Queen or Goddess, maybe a mighty Deity. Looking at them with a fierce gaze, I walked out the door in front of the room that lead outside, and kept going.

“Hey Crimson! Wait Crimson! Please, wait for me!” Vince was yelling. He soon caught up to me out of breath and I stopped to hear what he had to say. “That… was amazing! How did you do that?” I looked at him. “Vincent, I have no absolute idea so why do you keep asking me? I don’t even know where we’re at, those strange surges of powerful energy, I have no idea how I did that either.” An old elder, she looked as if she was supposed to be dead, came to us. She said, “I couldn’t help myself to listen to your conversation, but will you come with me?” we looked at each other confused and the old lady started for the lit up woods that gave a pleasant scenery than before at night. About a mile in, there was a nice hut neatly built, it was about two stories high, there was seven kids playing what looked like two friendly jet-black wolves happily running around and there were four teenagers, then there were again three other men with two older men that looked old like they were supposed to be dead too. As we walked up to the house, the three young ones bowed to me once more.

“Are you Crimson?” the old man asked.

“Yes. Yes I am. Why do you ask?” I said sounding confused.

“May we speak to you inside the house?” the other old man said.

“Sure why not?” I said carelessly. We went inside the house. There was a short table with good sized pillows that covers your whole butt in the living room; to the left was the dinning room with a large tall table with elegant chairs, there was a door that led to the kitchen from the dinning room, to the right were stairs leading up to the bedrooms. We sat at the short table; a kid immediately ran into the kitchen grabbing something then disappeared outside.

“We heard what you did to three of our soldiers,” The first old man said. He sounded very concerned as if I was a threat to their tiny village.
