Lovely time

You quickly walked, not enjoying the town between home and work. The place just gave off vibes that you didn't like one bit. Sure, it was a nice town, but something was up with it.

You had been walking so deep in your own thought you accidentally ran into someone.

"Oh shit I am so sorry!" You quickly apologized to the tall figure. You soon realized you knew who it was.

"Oh, hey it's you! Freezy boy!" You grinned at him.

He let out a soft chuckle. "So that's how you remember me? Freezy boy? My name is Johnny C. But since we are such good friends, just call me Nny."

"Nny? Spelled K-N-E-E?" You tilted your head in confusion at him, blinking a few times.

"Pronounced the same. Spelled N-N-Y."

"Ooohhhh. It's the end of Johnny! Nny! Okay." You light up when you figured it out.

"And what is your name?" He leaned in a bit towards you.

"Right! [Y/N]!" You grinned as you told him.

He nodded almost approvingly of it. "Well, [Y/N], what are you doing out here all alone? Aren't you spouse to be at work?"

You nodded. "Yeah, but boss wanted to let me go early today for some reason. I still have my job but now I have a half day more of break."

His eye brows raised and he nodded a bit once more. "Well I was just on my way to the store. Care to join me?"

You nodded happily. "Sure, I got nothing better to do but kill some time with some one awesome."

Johnny smiled a bit at that, feeling a bit good about that.

Your trip with him was quiet but you two did joke around a bit in the store and just had a good time.

The main section of the place you two stayed in was fantasy. You talked to him about different theories and he would play devils advocate, making you think more.

This has to be one of the best days I've had here! I think Nny maybe my only friend here as he just understands my thinking.

The cashier and you would sometimes catch each others glances and it seemed as though she was mad at you. You had no clue on why though, this was your fist time here. Maybe you were being too loud?

Johnny also introduced you to new series or authors you never heard of before. The pair of you soon left with quiet a few books, enough to last you at least a week. That was unless you chose to ruin your sleep and stay up and then possible get in trouble by reading at work.

I mean, work is some what slow here I could get away with it boss really wants to get on to me about it. I could just show him how slow work is and also her at least could be glad I'm not on my phone.

Johnny softly coughed to get your attention as you realized you were at you place of work again, but this time he was planning on just buying food.

"I'll just stick out here. You can just get me a bag of chips and a cherry fizz whizz. " You were about to pull out your wallet but he held out his hand.

"My treat, even if it is cheap." And with that he walked in smoothly.

He was out in under five minuets but you were already reading a book. He tapped the ground with his book to notify you of his presence again.  You jumped once more, but where greeted with your drink and food instead.

You put the book back in the bag and  stood up, thanking him.

You placed you chips in the bag along with you other books, praying they wouldn't get crushed.

He led you off into some woods, and you were already pleased but you quickly noticed you were hiking up a hill.

Within about thirty minuets, you were on top of cliff, looking down the city as the clouds rolled in.

You looked down in amazement, keeping note not to get too close to the edge. "This place is beautiful Nny!"

He nodded. "Thanks, this is my hiding spot if I wish to come out. And I thought I should share it with one of my best friends."

You smiled with a soft blush on your face. "Awe thanks Nny."

He placed himself on top of the car parked there and quietly sipped and munched on top and you leaned on the roof, joining on the drinking and eating. After a while, you just leaned back on the car and slowly drifted off, leaving Nny alone to his thoughts.

After about an hour, you came back to the world and stretched before grabbing a cook. You smiled at him and then went to reading, not wishing to fall back asleep on this silent hanging out party you two had.

He pulled out his own book and so now you two just quietly read together as the hours passed, neither noticing it.

That was until the moon came out and lit up the city, then you looked up and gasped at the beauty of the city more and Nny blinked as well.

He was rather confused on how it was just one p.m but now nearing nine, time was certainly strange.

He slid off the top and popped open his car door and leaned against it as you picked up what little things you had.

"Come on, I can drive you home."

"Awe thanks Nny." You placed your stuff in the back seat and got in.

Once you two where on your street, you just got out and waved goodbye to him and climbed the steps up to your place and got inside before he drove off.

That's when you realized you forgot your bag in the back and you didn't know where he lived and didn't have his number either.

"Great job me. Now you have to wait until he shows backup at work or hope he comes here with them."

You angrily got ready and cuddled you cat before you finally fell asleep around midnight. You had the same dream as last night, but something was off. You just couldn't tell what yet.
