Hiccup followed stoic which was good but left us without a chief. Gobber was trying to decide which trader to use of the three Hiccup picked. The trader I sent for Colborn was on his way last I knew. "A cooking competition!" The twins shouted. I looked over at Snotlout who was looking over the goods. The triad of traders agreed and soon were cooking up meals. I grabbed Snotlouts arm as we walked to the great hall. "What Eira?" He asked snapping slightly. "Snotlout I don't like this. No willow bark and the chief and heir are gone. It could be a set up." I said softly. "I doubt it. But I will be careful alright?" He said. "Ok I'm going to look and see if colborn is near." I said running off. I did see ships pulling up to the dock but they had the wrong flags. "Oh no!" I exclaimed as a large red dragon landed before me. "Ah look here men a spy. Get her!" He commanded as more of the same dragons with riders came after me. I didn't have any weapons yet. Gobber was working on some thing for me but they were not done yet. I ran towards the great hall to see it blocked off and the dragons captured. I made eye contact with Astrid who was trying to help stormfly conveying that whatever happens not to expose who I was before I was tossed to the ground by a dragon flyer. I heard shadowfang snarl. "Come on girl. Let's get you with the others." One of the men said. "Make sure she cannot speak. She has seen too many of our forces." The leader snarled as I was bound in dragon iron chains and a rope was tied so I couldn't speak. I was then dragged into the great hall and I saw the riders bound with ropes and other villagers either bound or subdued. "No! Let her go you stupid yak brains!" I heard Snotlout shouting. "Let her be a lesson to you." The leader said before closing the doors and I heard large objects placed outside. "Eira lass are you alright?" I heard Gobber asking. I nodded. "What a relief." He said. "Oy stop talking or the girl gets it." One of the tougher men stated kicking me roughly. I remained strong because while my father and brother were gone I was the next in line even though I would rather spitelout take it over me. I watched as Gobber freed himself and passed along the sharp object. They went to toss it at me but I shook my head no franticly. I shifted enough and the sound of metal on stone was heard before they ignored the twins and came after me. "Ahh looks like she's a feisty one boys." One said. Then the riders and the villagers were fighting. I heard Snotlout as he fought the guys closest to me before undoing the rope and picking me up. "We can't do much with the chains without the dragons." He said. "Thank you Snotlout." I said as he set me on my feet. The door blasted open and we ran out. The others quickly jumping onto their dragons. Shadowfang landed beside me and he dripped some of his venom onto the chains carefully. "Sorry buddy they have to be melted." I said even as he fought off the invaders. "Hooky get Eira out of here. Shadowfang your with me." I heard Snotlout state as he leapt onto my dragons back. Hookfang looked at me and carefully picked me up in his claws. He carried me out of battle towards the edge of the isle. On the same cliffs Snotlout took me to before hookfang landed and let me go. He scampered into a small cave and I followed him. It was a pretty good hide out and hookfang settled looking out the entrance. He nudged my hands that were still chained. "I know boy. I'm alright though. And thank you for keeping me safe. Although I hope the others will be fine." I said softly. The dragon huffed gently and whined. "You miss Snotlout don't you?" I asked leaning against his side. He whined again but wrapped his tail around me. "I get it. I miss him too." I said before we settled into silence.
