Later that night I was setting up a temporary sleeping space outside. "You sure you don't want to stay in my hut? It will be safer than out here." Hiccup said as he watched me roll out a blanket. "I will be fine Hiccup. If I get too cold or scared I will come directly to you Alright?" I said looking at him. "Fine fine. I just know dad would be upset to know your out here." He said before walking off. "Eira!" I heard Snotlout call from behind me making me turn and smile. He looked around before walking over. "You can't be serious about staying out here." He said "I am. Oh and my dad knows about us so you don't have to sneak around all the time." I said "oh. Anyways how did you want your hut set up. I'll be happy to help you." He said settling on the ground motioning for me to sit as well. "I want it like my room at home. Cozy with enough space for my herbs. And maybe a spare bed for emergencies? Gaoithe taught me enough skills to get by a few days or weeks if someone needs it." I said laying it out for him. "Sounds nice. I think I have a good idea of where to set you up at so do you mind if I take over?" He asked. "Of course not. Besides you will be showing off your superior building skills for me right?" I asked with a laugh that made him laugh as well. "I should be off then. Have a good night." He said before leaning over and softly kissed me on the lips before walking away. I said there with my fingertips just touching my lips with a happy little smile. I then curled up as the sun finally faded and slipped into a pleasant dream.
I woke up to raindrops landing on me. "Should have listened to Hiccup!" I muttered grabbing my blanket up and turning towards the huts. Soon the rain came down harder and faster and turned cold. I couldn't see as it was dark and the pelting rain didn't help much. I slid down the muddy hill barely keeping my self upright as I pushed through the rain. A flash of lightning lit the sky followed by the roll of thunder. I shivered and made my way to the first hut I saw in the light as I thanked Thor for the bit of help. I bumped into the wall and finding the door knocked loudly as I shivered my hair plastered to my head and face and everything soaked. The door opened and Snotlout opened it rubbing sleep from his eyes. "H-Hiccup was r-right." I said standing in his doorway. "Eira! Hurry up inside." He said waking up fully. He then wandered around his rooms gathering clothes and blankets. "Here go change then you can warm up by the fire while I get a place to sleep around for you." He said handing you a shirt that would be too long on you and a pair of pants you would need a rope to hold up. He fixed up an area with a blanket in the corner and I ducked behind it and quickly changed out of my drenched clothes into the soft dry ones. He took the wet ones when I stepped out and hung them by the fire. Hookfang was curled in a corner around a nest of blankets careful not to let his flames touch. I went and curled up on those blankets and Snotlout came over and looked me over. "How are you feeling?" He asked. "Better not as cold anymore." I said. "Good. That's good." He said awkwardly. I yawned in response making him smile lightly as I curled up beside his dragon. "What!?" I heard him exclaim to his dragon before I drifted off again.
