Chapter Two

ALICIA

I stirred awake when the door opened and Stephani walked in. "I talked to your father and you're to stay here," he said taking off his shirt.  I knew I had to stay here but I didn't know it would be so soon.  Something had to be wrong.

"what's going on? I wasn't supposed to be here until next week," I asked confused. 

"There's a treat to your family, half of your father's men are dead, he suspected it was someone on the inside... he's gone into hiding and since he feels he can't keep you safe, you have to stay here. I'm going over to collect your things," he said sitting on the bed backing me. 

"I'm coming with you," I said as I got off the bed. 

"Not dressed like that." he said frowning "Besides this is a serious thing those men may still be there waiting for someone in your family to come back.' He said as he left the bedroom.  If he thinks he can keep me in here he's got another thing coming.  

STEPHANI

I called a meeting to form a team to go get her things.. I just knew that those men would still be there. "Mark since you know her you should stay here and make sure she stays out of trouble." I instructed, "I'll take ten men with me." 

"why take that many? if they are there they would only have about two or three. they're not expecting a fight." Jose' stated. he could be right but we don't know who they are or what they are capable of. "extra security is never a bad thing." I informed. 

"Who's going?" Jose' asked. 

"You and Dondre' are my two of my top men I'm taking you two, and call in the backup shooters," I said. "Oh, Mark go buy Alicia some clothes." 

I walked into the bedroom to see her in a towel. "I see you've made yourself pretty comfortable." I scoffed. 

she just rolled her eyes "what did you decide in your meeting?" she asked 

"I'm taking ten men with me." she let out a laugh. 

"Why ten?" she asked, "why not have someone spy on the house for information then-" 

"We don't have time for that and you need clothes," I said changing into my suit.

"you men... Always in a hurry." she rolled her eyes. 

"I sent Mark out to get you something to wear." I said, "you can go down and get something when he gets back." I said before leaving. 

ALICIA

after about twenty minutes there was a knock on the door. I opened it and took the bag from Mark. Great shorts and a vest, I rolled my eyes at the clothes... I suppose this is the best he can do. 

I put on the clothes and headed downstairs to see Mark in the kitchen flirting with a maid. I rolled my eyes, 'You're still a whore I see." I said grabbing a cup of coffee. Mark laughed "I missed that sense of humor." 

"Hey do you remember our first mission together?" he asked 

I laughed "How could I not.... when you got that tip about that warehouse and we got there, kicked down the door and it was the wrong place." I laughed at the memory. 

"You know I thought you were dead." 

" You know me, I can't die that easily." we sat and reminisced. when his phone rang. 

"What??..........I'm on my way," he said quickly and jumped out the chair. 

"Stay here, I have to go help Stefani," he said making his way out of the room. I followed him 

"What's going on?" 

"They were ambushed and they're low on ammo... I gotta go now," he said as he opened a vault revealing weapons. My eyes lit up at the scene. 

'I'm coming with you." 

"No way Stefani would be pissed," he argued 

"It's either I come with you are I go alone," I said and he knew I would go alone.  

"Fine... but we need to hurry." 

I took up some supplies and ran behind him. As we sped to the location I got the weapons ready. 

  As we reached the location we suited up. "You ready?" he asked me smirking.

"Just like old times," I said giving him a high five. we put on our face masked and got out of the car. 

STEPHANI

When we got here there were more men than we anticipated. They had us surrounded we barely managed to shoot our way into the house. We're running low on ammo and they were closing in. 

"How many do you have left boss?" Dondre' asked.

 I checked my gun "six barrels left.

suddenly we heard a bang. I ran to the window. I saw smoke, I could barely make out two figures gunning down every man in sight and eventually making it to the door. The two people burst through the door and took off their masks. 

"What is she doing here Mark?" I asked annoyed.

"Look I know her and if I didn't bring her she would have come alone," he explained. 

"I'm already here and the deed is done can we just move on?" she asked annoyed. 

"Man you guys sure do know how to make an entrance."Jose' excitedly stated. 

"can we just get my things and go?" Alicia asked annoyed.

"Stay right there!" this guy yelled standing in the doorway holding a gun. "My My you're even prettier than the boss described," he said smiling at Alicia. His eyes never left her. 

He was distracted that's good. I quickly shot him in the leg, he fell to the ground groaning in pain. Mark quickly took his gun out of his hand. 

Jose' and Dondre' tied him to a chair. I walked up to him "Now you're going to answer some questions." I told him smirking.
