The accidental love for an Original brother

Chapter 10

Elijah's POV:

After an exhasting plane ride, I was finally in New York. I looked at my brother's finacials and saw that my love was staying at the four seasons. Taking a cab from the hotel, I told the cabbie to go to the four seasons. Walking inside, I showed the picture to the lady at the front desk, if she had seen her. She said yes, but wouldn't tell me where she is. The anger boiled in my blood when she wouldn't tell me where my Jesslyn was. 

" I am her boyfriend, I am supposed to be with her in that room right now." I stated

" Oh well that changes things. She said that she was waiting for you. She is in 503."

I thanked the woman at the front desk, even though she made me angry. I was still a gentleman after all. Riding the elevator up to the fifth floor, I knocked on her door. She opened it, then tried to shut it.

" Jesslyn, it isn't worth running away from me. Whatever it is, I will be there for you."

" Not with this. You would leave me, and you wouldn't come back. I would be erased from your mind."

" No, I won't erase you from my mind."

" I am pregnant, with Marcus' child, okay. He raped me the night he killed my brother."

 " Why didn't you tell me. You could have just told me and you wouldn't have had to run."

" No you don't understand. I have to run. There are people out there. They will want this baby and I just can't do that. I came to New York to find adoptive parents for this baby who will protect him or her."

" I know someone who wants a baby. They will take good care of the child." 

" Really? that is amazing. Thank you."

" We can meet them in the morning, but for right now, we need to get some sleep."

She just nodded. She changed into her pj's then crawled into bed. I crawled in behind me. She shifted back until her back was against my chest. Closing my eyes, I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
