Jesslyn's POV:

Sitting on the crowded plane, I felt more safe than I had for a month or two. I always felt that someone was always watching me, looking over my shoulder. I kept looking around me, just to make sure that nothing and no one was following me. I kept my head down and stayed there till I landed in New York. Stepping off the plane, I claimed my bags and made my way to a taxi.

" Where to?"

" Uhm, the nearest hotel please."

" Alright then"

The driver drove off and stopped at a place called the plaza.

" Here you go. That will be 10.75."

I handed the driver the money that I owed him, the made my way inside.

" Welcome to the Plaza, how may I help you?"

" I need a room for two days."

" Alright, who do I charge the room to?"

" I handed her Klaus' card. He will be coming in soon, he told me to pay."

She swiped the card and handed it back to me.

" Here you go. Enjoy. You are in room 503"

" Thank you so much."

Rolling my suitcases to the elevator, I pressed the five button. The ride was slow and painful. The entire ride up, I felt as if someone was watching me as my ride slowly took me up to my safety. Finally the elevator opened up and I quickly made my way to my hotel room and locked the door, once inside. Pulling out my phone I called Klaus.

" Hey love"

" Hey Klaus "

" Did you make it to the hotel okay? No problems?"

" No, but I still feel like i'm being followed. "

" It will happen for awhile, since you are running."

" Klaus, you know I had no choice but to run from this."

" Yes I know you had no choice, but at least you could have told him why you are running. I talked with him earlier and he feels like you are running from him. He thinks that since you saw him kill Marcus, you think that he is a monster and don't want to be near him."

" No, tell him that is not why and give him hints about why I left. Don't tell him exactly why. Please Klaus, please."

" Alright, I won't tell him except for the hints."

I turned my phone off and settled in for the night, trying to forget the day.

Elijah's POV:

I was listening in on my brother's conversation. Of course she would be in contact with him. I don't understand why she trusts him with everything, but we were together and she trusted me with nothing.  Then I listened in really hard and caught the end of their conversation:

" Klaus, you know I had no choice but to run from this." Jess spoke

" Yes I know you had no choice, but at least you could have told him why you are running. I talked with him earlier and he feels like you are running from him. He thinks that since you saw him kill Marcus, you think that he is a monster and don't want to be near him." My brother replied

" No, tell him that is not why and give him hints about why I left. Don't tell him exactly why. Please Klaus, please." She whispered

I didn't understand why she would have to run if it weren't for me. Then I thought about something, and it hit me. My next misson was to find her. So I went to find anything that would lead me to her. Searching her room, I found a reciept for a ticket to New York then a hotel. I would find out why she ran away and what was going on that she had to run away to hide from me. Thinking about her, I packed an over night bag, then made my way to New York.
