Jesslyn’s POV:

I awoke on the couch inside the Mikaelson Mansion. Klaus and Elijah were talking in the same room still thinking I was asleep. The conversation carried on as if I was still asleep.

“ Klaus, she needs to leave town for her own good.”

“Elijah, I can’t… we can’t just pack up everything and leave just because of one girl that you can’t stop loving.”

“Just because I love her doesn’t mean anything. She took the oath of always and forever, just like we did when mother died. She needs to leave or the hybrids will just keep coming after her until one day they take her and she doesn’t come home.”

“Elijah, that won’t happen.”

“How do you know? Huh? You thought it wouldn’t have happened with Julia, but look, it did and now we have no idea where she went. You loved her Niklaus, and I love Jesslyn. Whether you like it or not, she and I are leaving town.”

“Fine. But there is one thing that you should know. The doctor ran blood while she was at the hospital. Elijah, Jesslyn is pregnant with my child.”

I heard a gasp and then a slamming door. It wasn’t the front door, so it must have been his bedroom door. Sitting up, I instantly put my hand on my stomach. I had no idea that I was pregnant, but I was now and I would take care of the baby. Using my vampire speed, I rushed to Elijah’s room.

“Elijah, it’s me. Can I come in?”

“Jesslyn, I think it is better if you just go right now. I don’t want you to see me when I am angry.”

“Elijah, I don’t care that you are angry. I love you.”

“Then answer my question.”

“Alright.”

“Why did you sleep with my brother?”

“I had just turned, and everything was heightened. The first thing that I thought of was you and I instantly got turned on. It isn’t my fault that when I think about you I just want to screw you.”

“So are you going to keep the baby?”

“I don’t know. I can’t raise the baby on my own.”

“Then I will help you.”

“Are you sure that you want to raise your brother’s child?”

“Yes, if you will marry me.”

“What?”

“Marry me”

“Yes, I will marry you.”

Elijah got up and hugged me careful not to squeeze my stomach to hard. He and I smiled and laughed at the thought of starting a family.

“Jesslyn, do you know why I want to raise this baby?”

“Why?”

“Because, I knew you wanted a baby, and so do I.”

“So we will raise this child as our own?”

“Yes.”

“Do you want to leave town?”

“Just for a little while.”

“Where do you want to go?”

“I have one word for you”

“What?”

“Ireland.”
