Nothing hurts the eyes more than a full page of text that just runs together with no periods commas paragraph breaks and dialogue is meshed together with descriptions dialogue and character inner musings and it fills up the entire freaking page
That ^^^ hurt me to type. Truly. Paragraphs typically are 4-6 sentences. And vary the sentences. I've read some stories and it's like a 4th grader wrote it. Basic sentences. (He sat next to me. He picked me up into his lap. I looked into his sexy blue eyes---boring.) He sat next to me and pulled me into his lap as I looked into his sexy blue eyes. (Better!)
For all that is holy, USE PUNCTUATION.
Separate dialogue from the paragraph and use "".
Speaking of dialogue- don't just have line after line after line of talking without letting the reader know WHO is talking. It gets confusing after a few lines.
If you see me do it in my stories, slap me in an email. I'd appreciate it.
