It was currently lunch so me, Michael and Colin were hidden at the very back of the school grounds splitting a joint. People keep their distance from us, they think we're dangerous. To be honest I don't understand why they're scared of us, just because we occasionally got high in school we are classified as 'bad boys'. Look at Michael for crying out loud he has bright pink hair that could get mistaken for candyfloss! Now, don't get me wrong, I don't want people getting all up in my grill but it would be nice to walk down the corridors without people running in the opposite direction.
"Oi fag!" Yells Colin as he spots flower crown boy sitting in the grass making a daisy chain.
Okay so Colin may be a dickhead and people probably should run in the opposite direction as him but me and Michael aren't like him, I only hang out with him because everyone else is to scared to...
"Leave him alone Colin." Michael says taknig a drag from the joint before passing it back to Colin.
"Just going to have some fun Mikey." Chuckles Colin as he walked over to the scared looking boy. Luke tried to scramble to his feet as quick as possible once noticing all of us walking towards him. Completely forgetting about his daisy chain, Luke starts to walk away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Smirked Colin as he yanked Luke back by his arm with so much power Luke fell flat on his butt.
"Colin just leave him the fuck alone." I growled pushing Colin away from the fragile boy. Luke looked at me with his electric blue eyes wide with shock
"What is it with you two today? Your not turning soft are ya?"Chuckles Colin before turning back to his Victim stilling siting helpless on the floor. Not having a time to react, Colin kicks Luke in the stomach causing Luke to groan out in pain. "That's what you get you fag! People like you shouldn't be alive! You're worthless!" Screeches Colin kicking him again.
That's it! How can he do this to such a beautiful boy! Before I processed what was happening myself, I found myself punching Colin square in the jaw causing him to stumble back a few steps.
"What the fuck!" He yelled staring at me in disbelief.
"I have had enough of you going around beating innocent people up for no reason. It's not kind and it's not fair! People are scared of me and Mikey because of your stupid actions and I'm fed up of it! Just because Luke is gay does not give you the right to beat the shit out of him. You know nothing about him or his life so don't go round telling people to kill themselves just because of what gender they like. News flash not everything is about you nor does everyone try and impress you! You are not some saint that everyone wants to please in fact your opinion is irrelevant about a lot of things and I can not believe it has took me till now to realize that. So you know what Colin, you may as well beat the shit out of me, one of your best friends,as I'm gay too. I've just been to afraid of what you'll think or do to me to tell you. I have known I'm gay for over a year now, ever since Luke transferred here and I thought about how much I would love to kiss those bright pink lips of his and run my fingers thought is luscious blonde locks. So go ahed hit me.I dare you." I rant looking him dead in the eye.
I don't see a hint of sorrow or regret. I see anger and betrayal and before I knew it, my jaw was aching and I could tell a bruise was forming.
"I'm not friends with fags." He seethed, anger clear in his voice "Lets go mikey, I don't want to hang out with these shitheads a second longer."
"No."Michael sternly replies, "Calum is my mate no matter where he likes to stick his dick and I'm not going to abandon him just because of it so you can fuck off as I don't want to hang with YOU a second longer."
"You've made a mistake Michael." Warns Colin as he storms off towards the car park.
Kneeling down next to Luke, I check he is alright but I gasp once I see a horrendous bruise already forming on his stomach.
"Thank you." Whispers Luke looking at me with tear filled eyes making his eyes that one shade bluer if that's even possible.
"I've been so stupid letting him walk all over people for so long and you don't deserve it." I whisper leaning in closer Luke. Just as our lips were about to touch we got interrupted.
"LUKE! Where have you been?" Yells the voice. Turning around I see it's Ashton Irwin,Luke's best friend. Ashton didn't notice me at first which I found fairly odd as I was right next to Luke but once he did, he did not go well... "What the fuck have you done to Luke!?"
"Uh I ur haven't done anything I swear." I respond actually slightly scared of Ashton although I would never tell him that. I lean close to Luke to whisper in his ear "He's kinda scary..." This creates Luke to let out an angelic laugh that makes me smile wide knowing I was the reason he made that beautiful sound.
"Honestly Ashton he helped me. He is actually a nice guy." Luke speaks blushing slightly.
Michael, who I forgot was still there, filled in what happened with Colin whilst I snuck Luke away and hid behind a tree.
"shhh." I chuckle putting a finger to Luke's plump lips stopping him from laughing.I pull my finger away and just smile at him. Luke. The guy who made me realize I was gay. The guy he gave me the courage to stand up to Colin. The guy who made it easy to tell Michael and Colin I was gay. The guy who is kissing me. Oh em gee he is kissing me! Snap out of it Calum, you're cool. You know what to do. Kiss back!
After kissing against the tree for a few minutes, we finally pull apart for air. Just smiling at each other again.
"Did you mean what you said to Colin?" Questions Luke.
"Every last word. I've been in love with you from the moment you walked into maths with that flower crown on your head." I whisper kissing his lips again softly.
I'm so sorry for how bad this is! I can't write bad boy calum because he is a cute puppy and too sweet to be mean and everything so yeahh... this is shit sorry :/
