Author's note: Look at this beautiful manipulation done by Oceane_Breeze

It's a portrayal of Danica captured by the fairies.

Anthony:

"Now who in the world are you?", Trey asked.

"I'm Amir, the fairy prince..."

"No, I heard that. What I mean is why are you involved in this mess in the first place?"

"Trey...", I started. We had better things to do than stand around and make him literally repeat what he just said.

"Like I said, I'm betrothed...", Amir explained.

"So you're telling me that you are engaged to my man's home girl? Fool, are you asking for trouble?"

"Trey, like I said before, we are just friends. Secondly, we need to stop wasting time and plan out what we are going to do now that Danica's been taken by...whomever was talking on that watch radio.", I stated.

"No, please understand. This is all my fault. She wouldn't have been taken by my mother if I hadn't kidnapped her in the beginning..."

"Dude, kidnapping a girl? What's wrong with you, bro?", Trey yelled.

"Would you stop making my ears ring? I'm sorry, ok? I was irrational and thought my problems would be solved if she was nowhere to be found."

Now my interest was piqued; what exactly was his intentions towards Danica?

"Trey, let me handle this," I said as I gestured to him to lay off.

"What exactly was your motivation to do that? And how did you get anywhere near her? Her Aunt Fleur doesn't let her out of her sight unless she's with a group or at school," I exclaimed.

"To be honest, I've been in arranged marriage as long as I can remember and at the ball when I found out who I was going to be married to in two years, I went ballistic. Using the witch's curse as a distraction..."

"Wait, you were there? What was the terms of the new curse?", I squinted, trying to make out a shadowy outline of the Amir fellow, but all I saw was darkness.

These are the times I wish I could see because it could be nighttime for all I knew. We needed to hurry this process up and rescue Danica!

"What are you guys talking about?", Trey inquired.

He was so out of the loop that me and Amir could perform loop-de-loops around him and him not dot an eye.

Or was it blink? How did the phrase go again?

I was so out of date with my cultural mannerisms and idioms. Sometimes, I felt I belonged in my father's age with all the cultural nuances that I grew up with. Was I even considered a kid if I knew medical terminology before I could walk?

Back to the matter at hand, Amir hissed and Trey informed me that he appeared to be in deep though.

"She said that that her love must see her clearly as the morning dew, I think, but how is that important to you?", he asked, seeds of doubt hinted at in his voice.

"Aunt Fleur will know what to do with it when the time comes. However, that reminds me..."

I turned towards the ghoulish sound again and approached the witch again.

"What do you want, young prince?", the witch uttered as she puffed a smoke in my direction.

I found smoking to be a vile exercise, something that people did to pass the time that was entirely disgusting, however, I held my composure and addressed her with genteel as would be expected from a gentleman.

My father prided himself in raising his son properly. Witch or no witch, she was still a lady and should therefore be treated as one.

"We would like your assistance in this endeavor."

She scoffed, "Me? You want me to help you three, a future king, a prince and a renegade to rescue a fair damsel in distress? What could I hope to possibly gain from that?"

Trey tugged at my arm, "Dude, are you nuts? This is the same woman that cursed Danica when she was a baby! I don't think she wants to intervene in Danica's misfortune. She's probably happy this all happened."

There was a scuttle of feet as we all turned to look at her. I being the blind one out of the group just stared in her general direction and blinked occasionally.

Too bad my blindness was not the result of a curse like Danica's invisibility had been.

"Hmph. I can't deny her suffering brings me a bit of pleasure, but now that I know that Danica is not like her parents, I do partially regret making her the target of the curse."

Amir interrupted, "Look lady, I know I've done some questionable things as a prince, but Danica... she's innocent here. This guy..."

"Anthony," I stated.

" and Anthony' s friend...?" This Amir fellow was flailing hard right now with his speech.

"Trey, you doofus," he snapped back.

"Anthony, Trey and me want the best for Danica and currently, she is the hands of the fairy royals who want nothing more than to use her for their own gain and marry her off to their heir aka me. Please, I implore you to have mercy on Danica and see her as her own individual person. She is not at fault for the sins of her father and should not have been cursed to spite those who did harm to you and your family as she had no say in that. She wasn't even born when those events happened. I beg of you to help us out."

"Alright. Amir, is it?", she presumed.

"Yes?", he squeaked.

"You are lucky I am in a good mood and your words have not fallen on deaf ears or I would have cursed you for wasting my time. Anyway, what's the plan here?"

"You're willing to help us?", I asked, baffled that she had agreed.

"You need help with transportation to the fairy kingdom, right? I'll lend you my Kitty to give you a lift."

"Now ma'am we don't need your cat to...", Amir started only to be interrupted by a giant crash.

"Holy moly, is that a flying cheetah?", Amir shrieked.

"Close, but no. Kitty will take you to where you need to go and I'll teleport there. Once we arrive, we'll recoup and gather intelligence on the castle.", the witch stated.

"Why do we need...", Amir said only to be cut off.

"You want to march in the front lines unprepared to face guards, monsters and what else the fairies throw at us?", she asked.

"No...", he answered softly.

"Good. Trey, you come with me. Kitty can't take three at once."

"But I hate teleporting", he mumbled under his breath.
