Luna continued to keep her head in her hands, ceased from crying, but her body convulsing, her arms soon wrapped around her. She honestly didn't think she could cry anymore. However, her convulsions stopped when she heard something at the door. Luna contained herself as she scooted over and listened to the door.

She could distinctly hear the crashing and breaking of objects – a result of Dreco's extreme anger. Luna tried to calm down her heart so she could listen tentatively.

The Elf appeared to mutting something.

"…can't believe he's still alive…was so sure he was dead…"

Luna sat back against the door and just looked in the distance.

He was alive.

Loki was alive

She took a deep breath and got up, turning on the water and splashing some on her face and looked at herself in the mirror. A steeled down reflection of herself stared back at her. She looked at herself long and hard before she went out there.

Luna opened the door and came out to a disheveled haired Dreco with a totally destroyed room.

The white curtains torn, vases on the floor in a million pieces, and a small hole punched in the wall by the balcony entrance.

Luna gulped as she swolled back down that bile from her stomach and put on her best loving façade. She gracefully walked to Dreco, hugging his head to her chest, stroking his hair.

"What's wrong, Dreco?" She asked, softly. He looked up at his reluctant partner with big eyes.

"Your husband won't die. That's wrong with me, my sweet." Luna forced everything within her to stay down. She took his head in her hands and looked at him.

"I've finally realized that you're all the man I need," said Luna. "You, I love you, and no one else, Dreco."

Dreco slowly got up, a broad smile on his face, taking in Luna's soft facial expression, seeing the sincerity in her eyes.

"really? Truly?" Dreco asked.

Luna smiled and laughed sheepishly, "Mh-hmm."

"Oh, thank the gods!" He exclaimed. Dreco kissed Luna softly, his hands sliding down her neck and arms, resting on her waist. Without the love spell clouding her judgment, she could feel how he kissed and how he communicated through the soft action. The Elf's method of kissing was soft, slow, and languid; the true kissing of a lover, just like Loki. Just the mere thought of her husband made her whimper slightly. However, maybe, in another life, she could've been with Dreco, but her heart belonged to Loki, the great love of her life.

Dreco pulled back and just looked at Luna longingly, rubbing his thumb along her cheek.

"For your husband to meet his demise there's just one thing you have to help me with," he said to the Midgardian with a soft voice.

Luna cocked her head to the side playfully. "And what would that be, my love?" Mental note, she thought, don't say that to anyone except Loki. It sounds extremely too corny.

Dreco smiled, closed his eyes, and kissed her softly on the forehead. "You'll see, darling. You'll see."

Luna giggled from the gentle touch from his lips, but then gasped when a sudden chill crashed over her.

Oh no, she thought quickly, her movements tensing up. It was as if she was frozen.

It was another spell…

Luna looked at Dreco before it fully took over, "Dr…Dreco, why?"

Sif walked up to the extremely aggravated Loki reluctantly as they got closer to the castle.

"Loki, do you not think you'd be more ready for battle if you weren't so," she searched for the word, "…worked up?"

Loki stopped and turned to her, and icy chill escaping his body like an ice box. He looked at her with killer eyes.

Sif stood back and let Loki continue to walk towards the castle, which wasn't far from them at that point. The plants kept getting more and more extravagant the closer they got to the palace. Sif never would've stepped down from Loki at any other circumstance, but if he went berserk, she'd feel like she could never defeat him in this or in that state.

Suddenly, Loki's steps started getting quicker as they started to get closer to castle; the veins of the ice from his footsteps radiated out at a farther distance, touching the plants and animals in all the greenery. Soon, his steps grew quicker and quicker into a sprint with the other running after him.

Loki's grimance became deeper and deeper, a growl fermenting in his throat, waiting to erupt. His run came to sprint with the growl slowly coming out, snowballing itself into a terrifying war cry that broke the hearts of his comrades to hear the pain that he was suffering.

The guards in front of the palace got ready for Loki's attacks to guard the king, but they were no match for his rage. He threw up his hands and an ice beam came out of his hands. The guards shrieked to the top of their lungs and froze as Loki crushed them to shambles and kicked open the palace doors.

Loki's eyes couldn't have been more blown up with rage as he roared, "DRECO!" He looked up to the dais to see a cool, calm, and collected Dreco looking at him with a smirk on his face.

"Well, well, well, look at what we have here. You've finally come, Loki. We can finally finish this. I loved killing you the first time, but I'll enjoy it even more the second time and I'll get to do it in person!"

"Where the hell is my wife and daughter, you menace?!" Loki shouted. He kept breathing hard; he couldn't calm down, there was too much adrenaline in his body. Dreco was just a foot away from him.

He just needed to kill him.

"Oh, your daughter is fine and sleeping, but your wife…," Dreco tried to hide his smile, "…she's right here, waiting for you." He pointed to the daiz with Loki's finger following his finger. "Luna, look up for me, darling."

Loki's anger simmered and was replaced with utter sadness. He felt like all the air was sucked out of him. All he could say was breathlessly, "Oh gods, Luna, darling. No…"

When Luna looked up, she was as beautiful as the first day he saw her back when they were kids, but iit wasn't his wife.

He fell to the ground, tears falling down his eyes. Loki's skin went back to his normal color, the anger leaving his body.

Her eyes, it was her eyes.

There was no light in them. They were just dull and lifeless.

"Say hi to your dead husband, sweetheart." Dreco said.

In a monotonous tone, Luna said, "Hi, my dead husband."
