Possible TRIGGER WARNING___ This chapter talks about panic attacks and nightmares so read at your own discretion.

A/N___ And to all you hard core Poe Dameron fans out there, please don't hurt me for making him go through this!?! I love him too!!

Poe Dameron jolted violently from his sleep. His heart was racing and he felt like his lungs were being squeezed. He threw the blankets off and sat up in the bed scooting backwards, and he drew his knees up to his chest. He brought his hands up and covered his face, breathing quickly. The wall was cold against his back. He closed his eyes to try shutting out the images running through his mind but that only made them appear clearer.

A man in black, chasing him, holding him still. He couldn't move. His limbs felt like lead, unresponsive. He opened his eyes again to try focusing on something other than his thoughts, but the room was dark and it only made things worse. The darkness was just like the man in black.

His breath started coming in short gasps. He was sweating, and shaking and he was scared. He was so scared.

"B-...BB-8!" he choked out as loudly as his gasping breath would allow. The droid buzzed to life, rolled over to the side of the bed and beeped questioningly. When the droid saw him he spun frantically in a circle and rushed to turn on the light.

Poe took his hands off his face and gripped the bed sheet tightly, turning his knuckles white with the effort. BB-8 did his best to reassure his friend, but didn't really know what to do. As far as the droid was concerned this had never happened before. BB-8 asked Poe what was wrong, and he tried to respond but couldn't quite get the words to come out. He did feel a little better though now that the light was on and BB-8 was talking, well, beeping, to him.

After several minutes of shaking, and sweating, and feeling like he was going to choke to death, he finally got his breathing under control again, and released his death grip on the bed sheet. He sighed, his heart was still beating fast, but it was gradually slowing down, and the feeling of panic was gone too. He lifted his head off his chest and rested it against the wall. "Thanks buddy." He said, "I don't know what happened."

BB-8 beeped again.

"No, I don't need meds. The Doctors are already busy enough without having to worry about me too. And I see them often enough anyways."

BB-8 whistled.

"Yes, I'm sure." Poe smiled down at his friend. "I'll be fine... really." The last part came out sounding more like a question to Poe, but it was too late to take it back now. He layed back down and covered up with the blankets again.

He tossed and turned for several minutes, but he was wide awake after the nightmare and the resulting panic attack, and he didn't really feel like closing his eyes and repeating the experience so he got up, put on a light layer of clothing, and decided to leave the room.

After meeting Poe in the hangar her first day on base, Lilli Benn Asto jumped straight in to upgrading every X-wing she could get her hands on. After several days she somehow acquired the helping hands of several other technicians who wanted to learn anything she could teach them. Usually she liked working alone, but after being semi forced to deal with the extra help, they were starting to grow on her. But she still liked to work alone, thus the late night shift that she was currently choosing to pull.

She liked the help, but you can't beat the nice quiet moments where there is nothing much going on around you and your sitting there with an engine, oil and grease everywhere. She sighed, relaxing as she used a wire brush to clean off a dirty engine part. Lilli was sitting on the floor propped up against a metal box of some sort, and working slowly when Poe wandered into the hangar.
