Chapter 8

It's another day of work and you're outside of the conference room waiting for Jungkook

After 3 hours of waiting, Jungkook finally finished his meeting "Ms. Choi, where's the next meeting?" Jungkook asked you

"In the --- Company" you replied and Jungkook nods

You notice the time and it' already passed 12. "Uhm sir, are you  not going to eat lunch?" you asked woriedly

"Oh right... But I don't have time anymore" he replied facing you

"But you have an hour and 30 minutes before the next meeting" you replied hoping that he will he eat lunch

Jungkook looks down and relieve a light sigh, "Ok, I'll eat lunch. But you have to be with me" he said and it makes you speechless from what he just said

"Oh no thanks sir. You can eat by yourself. I'll just eat while you're having your next meeting" you said nervously

"But it's unfair. I will be eating lunch while you're not? You should eat. Well since I don't want to eat alone, be with me" he said to you seriously

Honestly, you were flattered inside since your boss is the one who asks you to eat lunch with him

"Ok fine" you said and Jungkook smiled

"Then where should we eat?" you asked

"I know a place not far from here" he said

"Ok sir, lead the way" you said and it makes Jungkook laugh a little bit seeing how embarassed you are

You and Jungkook already arrived at the restaurant he was saying. The two of you are walking towards the table and unexpectedly, Jungkook offer you a seat

"He was a gentlemen..." and you lattered. And later on, the two of you ate holding the menu and a waiter came

"May I take your order?" the waiter asked thw both of you

"Ms. Choi, what do you like?" Jungkook asked you while looking at the menu

"I'll just order Buttered Shrimp" you replied to him

"I'll get a steamed meat  and two glasses of Coke please" Jungkook said to the waiter

"Ok sir. Is that anything?" The waiter asked and Jungkook nods

After the waiter walked away, you noticed there are girls who are whispering to each other with a smile, while looking to Jungkook. "Truly this man infront of me is handsome" you tought

"Do you really wear glasses?" Jungkook suddenly asked you

"Yes sir." you said nervously

"Liar. I don't see the lense though" Jungkook said with a grin

"I just wore these so I will look nerd" you said while looking down

"Why do you want to look nerd?" Jungkook asked confusingly

"So that I won't have many friends" you said

"And why?" Jungkook asked again

"Becauss when I was a kid, my classmates makes friend with me because I was smart. They will make me answer their homeworks and cheat with me in exams. Until one day, the teacher caught us and all may 'friends' blamed me. So I decided if I look nerd, no one will be friends with me" you said and relieve a short sigh

"So you don't have friends? Even one?" Jungkook asked confusingly

"I have one. For me, it's ok to have few friends. At least they were a true friend" you said with a smile

"Well then, you could be friends with me" Jungkook said with a smile
