Chapter 9

"Well then, you could be friends with me" Jungkook said with a smile

Youd heart beats so fast from what you just heard

"W-why? Why do you want to be friends with me?" you asked confusingly

"Because why not? Even though we just met in days, I know you're gonna be a good friend. And since we're always together, it's kinda uncomfortable if we're strangers right?" He said

"Nice one. But the thing is, will you be a true friend?" You asked

"Do I look fake?" he said jokingly and makes you grin

"Can we be friends? Please?" he asked like a child

"Why do you want to be friends with me desperately?" you asked confusingly

"Taehyung is my only friend. And I'm not with him always, and I'm always with you. So I think it's perfect to be friends." after you heard those words, your heart really beats fast

"Ok fine. We can be friends sir Jeon" you said with a smile

"By the way, just call me Jungkook" he said with a smile and you nod. After a friendly conversation, your food has arrived and both of you started eating

"No problem. Anything for my friend" he said sarcasticly that made the both of you chuckle

You were waiting Jungkook outside the conference room and you recieve a text message, and it was Taehyung

Taehyung: Mishi, is Park Jimin you're friend?

Mishi: Yes
Mishi: Why you ask?

Taehyung: He was begging me to give your phone number but I can't

Mishi: Oh just give him

Taehyung: Ok

After having a short conversation with Taehyung, another text message was recieved

Unknown: Choi Mishi ah!

Mishi: Who are you?

Unknown: Park Jimin

Mishi: Oh, wait gotta change your contact name though
Mishi: Done

Jimin: Whatcha doing?

Mishi: Waiting for sir Jeon

Jimin: Did you eat?

Mishi: Yup

Jimin: Do you want to eat ramen again?

Mishi: Of course yes!

Jimin: Ok, I'll wait you later! 👌

You relieve a small sigh but with a smile. "Ramen again" you said with a smile

It's already night time and it's 8pm. You were at your office and using your phone

"Mishi!" you heard Jungkook's call and ran towards his office

"Yes sir?" you asked him

"Please make me coffee" he said and you make him coffee right away

You already gave him his coffee and notice there are a lot of papers in his desk "Do you have a lot of works?" you asked hoping that you could help

"Yup. And, you may go home" he said "Thank you" you said with a smile. You bowed to him and walk towards the door

"Mishi" he suddenly calls your name. You look back him and give him a confused look "Get home safe" he said with a smile

"Yes I will" you smiled and leave him.

Jungkook's P.O.V

After Mishi left his office, Taehyung entered his room "Yahh Kookie!" Taehyung shouted

"What?" Jungkook said

"Do you remember the day when all your files was scattered at the floor?" Taehyung asked

"Yeah. Why?" Jungkook answered while doing some paper works not looking to Taehyung

"We looked to the CCTV who entered your room that time, he looks like an employee. We look at him at the company's workers list but, he was not listed there" Taehyung said with horror

"What do you think?" Taehyung added

"It must be from Baseline Co." Jungkook said nochantly
