Disturbing Alarm Clock

When she couldn't wait any longer, Red turns the knob and lets out a sigh. She will be joining Kye's party.

It will be fun, she tells herself.

By the time she comes down, people were looking at her. Probably because she caused a ruckus earlier in the living room. But she ignored this and just put her hands to her back pockets.

She sees Kye outside beside the pool. Not the pool table but the swimming pool. He has his arms on a blonde's shoulders and he looked like he was flirting with her.

So much for the invitation.

She was about to look away when Kye meets her eyes and virtually smiles at her. She bobs her eyebrows at him. But then he motions for her to come closer.

She tries to wave back while shaking her head but Kye was already on his way to her.

"Hey". Kye flashes her a smile. The one that makes her lose focus. "I have someone I want you to meet"

"Oh. Your girlfriend?"

"What girlfriend?" .He has this smirk on his face that probably says they were only hooking up. "No. Come on follow me". He even stretched the No part.

When they got to where Kye was sitting. Red was introduced to this guy named Ryan.

Ryan is a formal-looking guy with dark brown hair and green eyes. He lives far from the neighborhood but managed to come over for the party. He is a football player in one of Kye's old highschool's rival schools.

"Hi". Ryan flashes a dimple when he smiles at Red and reaches for her hand. "I am Ryan Lincoln"

"Hey. Red McBride". She smiles back at him. Ryan stared at her with glistening eyes.

Kye breaks the silence. "Ryan saw your drama earlier and thought that was really sexy". Kye pauses for a moment. "You know, feisty women should also be feisty in bed right?".He doesn't take his eyes off Red while grinning and taking a sip of his beer.

Red sighs and switches her eyes to Kye, rolling it. "You know you sound like a pervert right?"

Ryan gasps. "She is feisty", then he chuckles. So does Kye.

Red shakes her head and turns to walk away from the two guys. "Goodnight bastards"

She leaves them speechless but amazed at how grumpy and full of strength this lady is.

Red was woken up by noise somewhere outside her room. She managed to put her earphones on maximum playing rock songs before going to bed. But her ipod had turned off.

It was 3AM when she took a glance at the clock on the bedside table. She takes her earphones off making the noise clearer.

Her eyes popped open hearing what the noise was. There was moaning and groaning and screaming names. All that flashed in her mind were rabbits and how they mated as what she saw in youtube before.

They must be bunnies.

There is no way this was gonna turn into a lullaby and put her to sleep. She just lays there staring at the ceiling letting all the moans and groans pass through her ears one after another.

During time she thought it was over. It had started again.

Eventually, the disturbing noises stop by 5AM and Red never fell asleep for the rest of the night.

She figured out it was time to get out of bed when the sunshine had hit her face. She ran down trying to avoid what she might actually see or hear again from the hallways since Kye's room was also in the second floor.

All the lights were still on so she turns them all off except in the kitchen where she makes herself a cup of coffee.

There was no food so she drank up all her coffee and went out for a breakfast in a nearby diner. She bought doughnuts and some brownies and grabbed two cans of coffee from a vending machine.

She clears her mind from all the ruckus that happened in the span if 24 Hours. Well, at least tried to.
