Chapter 6 He Cares that much ?

( Raven's view )

I followed behind Carl I could tell he was angry I didn't why or how I  knew somehow I just did I could sense that he was

" Carl what's wrong " I asked softly as we entered his or our room

" you could of gotten killed because my dad was a idiot for letting you risk your life for some dumd supplies " he half yelled angrily causing me to back up a little he must of sensed that I was  fighting my fight or flight instinct cause he took a deep breath before softly whispering

" I'm sorry I snapped I ...I just care for you so much I can't explain it I know we've only know each other for two days but I can't lose you I feel like I've known you all my life I'm sorry Raven " he then sat on his bed I could see a tear slipping down his pale slightly dirty cheek I sat down next to him hugging him letting him cry while I told him how I was OK and that I felt the same way about him that I couldn't lose him either

As he began to stop crying I slowly pecked away his last tear on his cheek he then looked up at me and slowly placed a hand on my cheek which made my heart race in a good way before he started leaning in as I  started leaning in as well

Just as our lips touched a fire like feeling spread through my veins the kiss started off soft but grew a little rougher our lips fitted perfectly together but sadly we had to pull away for a pesky thing called air

( Raven's view ) 

" Carl I can't lose you " was all I could say before hugging Him tightly

" I can't lose you either Raven " he whispered I couldn't believe it he cared about me no one has ever cared about me before except for my mother

" I think I know what will cheer us up " I said as I pulled out two perfectly good rice crispy treats handing one to Carl making him laugh

" found a whole box of these babies in the kitchen at the school along with other snack food " I said as I pulled out some comics I had in my bag returning them to their boxes before Carl pulled out some video games and controls

" lets play " he said winking before popping in a game called mortal combat causing me to smile since I've played this game a few times before the break out

" bring it cowboy " I said while taking the controller he handed me

After a few hours of me kicking Carl's butt with Sonya we decided to go to bed I was getting off toward my bed when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist stopping me mid step Carl stood up lowering his mouth to my ear's level and softly whispered

" you really think after the kind of day you had I'm gonna let you sleep on some cot "

I couldn't help but smile he cared someone cared for me and I cared for him I couldn't lose him was all I could think of as he took my hand leading me to the bed where we cuddled and eventually I fell asleep

I was playing with Raven's hair as she used me like a pillow that's when I saw something or someone looking in from the window I carefully slipped away from Raven which meant she must of been more exhausted then I thought , she's always so alert even when she's sleeping

As I got closer I saw it was Enid I slowly opened the window to see what she wanted

" what do you want Enid  " was all I could say she was just staring at Raven sleeping in my bed

" so your fucking her now great Carl why can't you see it was supposed to be me and you not you and that little lone wolf bitch" Enid snapped Making my blood boil

" listen Enid it was never gonna be you and me Raven's not a bitch unlike you and for your information I'm not fucking her she almost died getting supplies for us I'm letting her get a good nights rest I care about Raven so I'm taking care of her now leave me alone " was all I said before shutting the window and crawling back in bed softly pecking Raven's head
