Evan Robly's POV:
Today was another interview. I just had an interview with The Rookie a couple weeks ago, now I have to have another one. Why did Rachel have to schedule another stinking interview now? Now, I can't have my one o'clock nap. Rachel opened the door and came in.
"Maybe I help you with something?" Rachel asked.
"Tell Christopher, I'll publish his article.," I said.
"Will do Mr. Robly, anything else?" she asked.
"Yes, don't schedule two interviews in the same month. I must have my nap time," I replied.
"Sorry but she insisted on this month." She defended.
Then, there was a knock on the glassdoor. I looked to see a bubbly, young girl over there waving at me vigorously. Great, all I need is a Polly Positive at my office.
Kiara Hester's POV:
"Ah," I said as I stood beside the huge building. I had an interview today and I bet it's going to be great! Just got out of college and I already have an interview!
I walked into the twenty-story building and went to the elevator. I saw a man on the other side of the elevator wearing a dress shirt and black pants. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and looked to be about thirty. Maybe he is the person interviewing me.
"Hello there, if you don't mind where can I find Evan Robly's office?" I asked.
"Uh, I think the 8th floor, but I'm not sure. I try to advoid him at all cost." He replied. He is definity not Evan.
"Okay, thank you, but why do you try to advoid him?" I asked.
"Let's just say you'll find out when you meet the old grouch." He said.
"Oh, okay. What's your name?" I requested.
"James Ratet. It's your stop." He said while nodding toward the door.
"What?" I replied confused, then I looked toward the opening door.
"Floor eight." The automatic voice of the elevator said.
"Oh, bye James. Have a wonderful day at work." I said smiling and waving. I then exit the elevator."Ah, today will be such a great day."
Now, where is his office. I started looking everywhere. I could have asked but I didn't want to disrupt anybody at work. I finally found his office after about twenty-two minutes of wandering; that floor is huge.
I could see through the office because it was all glass. There were two people in there a woman and an older man. They didn't seem to see me, so I knocked on the door. The two people turned an looked at me. I started to smile and wave. The woman opened the door for me.
"I'm guessing your Kiara Hester?" the woman asked me.
"Yes! I sure am!" I said in a bubbly tone. The owman turned around to the gentleman and walked out.
"Hello Kiara." the man grumpy tone.
"Hello. Are you Evan Robly?" I asked.
"Yes, I am. Let's get started on the interview; you are interupting my nap time," He rudely said to me, "Have you worked at another company before?"
"I'm dearly sorry about interupting your nap time. Can I make it up to you? I can make you coffee, or tea, I can knit you a sweater, or umm make you supper--" I was then cut off.
"Just answer the questions please." He said in a mono tone. I hope I wan't getting on his cloudy side.
"Okay. I just got out of college but I did my internship at PC Life." I replied.
"Really? If you could be an interm at that magizine why did you go down to ours? Do you have letter of reccomendation?" He commented.
"Well, here's the letter," I said as I handed him the letter,"I was an interm there because my father owns the company. He said I need to learn how to be sucessful, so he didn't put me in his office."
"Oh, do you mind if I can get his office number?" He asked.
"Sure, why not. Uh, let me look," I said while pulling out an iPhone4S, "16382222560."
"What hours are you willing to work?" He questioned.
"Anything just about. I just request that I must leave at ten at night, but I can come at 6 am if you'd like." I answered. This went on a long time, he asked about almost everything; what holidays do I take, my family, vacation time, type of writing, and a bunch more. Then, suddenly about four masked men came in from the elevator. At first Mr. Robly and I didn't see them but them they started to yell.
