10: Final Blow

Here you go, chapter 10. Reiner gets super intense in this one, just a warning. Yay kidnapping and murder, am I right? (What is wrong with me, why do I enjoy writing things like this? XD)

Oh yeah, I should probably warn you: there is some blood and gore in this chapter.

(Reiner's POV)

I had until dinner. Just enough time to remove all the distractions for our love. Then I'd show her what she meant to me, and take her far, far away...so it was just the two of us. We could finally live in peace.

Samuel was in front of me, still aware of my presence. I felt my heart racing with adrenaline as I walked towards him, weapon in hand.

"Samuel," I growled, and he turned to look at me. His brown eyes widened when he saw the rod in my hand.

"H-Hey, Reiner, what're you-"

I snarled, cutting him off. "Shut up. I want you to go and get your vertical maneuvering gear, and don't tell anyone that you spoke to me, got it? Then you're going to go to that tree over there," I said, pointing to the one he meant. "Do anything I didn't say, and I'll beat you to death with this, understand?" 

He nodded, his eyes wide with fear. He ran off to do as I instructed, and I smirked in satisfaction. Perfect, step one complete. Now, for my second victim.

After a bit more threatening and a couple of minutes of waiting, I had both of my victims and the gear I needed. Killing them wouldn't be good enough. No, I had to show off my work for (Y/n). They'd be hung from the tree, just like Sasha was.

"Reiner, why are you doing this?" Connie said, struggling against the wire I had tied around his wrists. It cut into his skin, drawing blood.

Samuel's gear was on the ground, smashed, and all of the wire taken out. I gave the shorter male an insane smirk, holding on one of Samuel's blades. "I'm making a present for (Y/n). She'll just love it, won't she? You two are some of her best friends, after all. I know this will make her love me. I can tell, she is still hesitant around me. But this will finally earn her affection. Just imagine the things I could do to you!"

I laughed, holding up my blade and admiring it.

"Sharp, isn't it? Samuel takes good care of his gear, I see."

"What are you going to do with us?" Connie cried. "Are you going to hurt us? I thought we were friends, Reiner!"

"We were...but I don't need friends anymore. I have (Y/n). She's more than enough for me. No one else matters but her."

I grabbed the trembling brunette by the collar of his shirt, and plunged the sharp blade through his stomach. He screamed, and I quickly retracted the weapon from his abdomen. "Already screaming? I haven't even started yet."

Using the wire, I tied it around his neck and tied the other end around the tallest tree branch I could reach. Connie watched, his wide gray eyes filled with utter terror. I felt pride at my work as I watched Samuel struggle to take in a breath, even though it was impossible. The front of his shirt was soaked with blood. Eventually his thrashing grew weaker as he lost both blood and air. Then, he went limp, his eyes glazing over.

He was dead.

One down, one to go.

"You just killed him!" Connie shouted, struggling against the restraints the held his wrists together, causing them to bleed even more. 

"I know," I said, and pointed my bloody sword at the remaining boy. "It's not the first time I've killed. You know Potato Girl, don't you?"

His eyes widened, and his body went ridged. "You...killed Sasha?"
