Chapter 6: Quick filler in.
Just Johnny's first day back at school a month after he woke up.
Johnny's POV:
Maybe it was the fact that I looked like I would date any girl that would throw herself at me, that caused her to do this.
When the doctor finally said it was time for me to return to the hell they call school, I realized, it wouldn't be the same as before.
The accident... no, the crime.
Alli not being able to come back to school with me...
It all wouldn't be the same.
I always thought, hey, they won't care...
But then I remembered, society will judge you, no matter what.
The day I walked in the school, I felt all those eyes on me.
They took in my appearance, and just felt bad for me.
Everyone only acknowledged the fact that I was walking through the school hallways. Everyone, except Mackenzie.
"Johnny, baby, you're alright!" She shrieked as she saw me.
I don't like her. At all.
She has bullied Alli ever since she found out I was friends with her.
She's obnoxious, and self-centered.
"I don't consider this alright..." I mutter.I wish it was me in that coma. Alli should be here...
"I missed you so much!" He throws herself on me.
"Get off, Mackenzie." I say with no anger whatsoever.
She frowns.
"What, I can't even hug my boyfriend?" She emphasizes the word 'boyfriend', like she's trying to being attention from the people around us.
"Boyfriend?" I ask with a small laugh creeping up.
"Yes. Boyfriend. You're my boyfriend."
"Mackenzie... I'm not your boyfriend." I start. "I don't like you in that way."Or in any way.
She looks shocked.
"Excuse me?" She exclaims.
I walk past her towards my locker.
"Don't you dare walk away from me." She spits.
I try to ignore her, but everyone is now staring at us.
"Johnny, you told me we were dating." She yells, her squeaky, annoying voice bringing attention.
"No I didn't."
I honestly didn't. She must have understood my words in a different way.
"Yes you did! You told me that if I talk to a guy a lot, and if he always tells me I'm beautiful, it means we're dating!" She yells. "That's me and you!"
"You and me." I correct.
"Yes! Us!" She says with a tone that confuses me; girls are hard to understand.
"No. I was correction you. Mackenzie," I open my locker. "We are not dating. I honestly thought you were talking about another guy."
She slams my locker shut.
"You called me beautiful." She takes a step towards me. "You always hang out with me."
"Yes, I called you beautiful."
She nods, her eyes burning into mine.
"I also called Alli beautiful."
Her eyes shoot daggers at me.
"What!" She yells.
I nod, smirk, and walk away.
"You are dead to me!" She yells.
Honestly, Mackenzie means nothing to me. I tried to be her friend, but she apparently can't do that.
She has tried to be my girlfriend for so long, but I just push her away.
There's no way I would ever think about dating her.
The only person I want to date...
Is Alli.
