Alan POV

The rest of the day was boring. I walked into last period and sat my books down on the desk in the corner. I reluctantly took my seat when austin came walking. I smirked a little when I saw him and he gave a slight smile. I motioned for him to come sit next to me, which he did. He looked up to me and whispered

"I've been thinking a lot about what you said earlier, I'd really like to get to know you better, ashby."

I couldn't help to blush, but I nodded slightly before the teacher began talking about the American Revolution or some shit. I couldn't help but stare at austin and all that he is. PERFECT. He caught my stare and touched my hand and looked back. It felt like heaven and I knew right at that point that I wanted to know him more.

For the rest of the class, austin seemed to ignore me. I figured it was just him trying to pay attention but he turned around starting talking to Andrew, better known as andy and my bully. I saw andy smirk at me and shivers ran down my spine, the bad kind if you know what I mean. I was so zoned out that when the bell rang I was left sitting at my desk in the corner. I saw austin get up and leave, I was so shocked because I had the intentions that he was coming home with me to 'hang out'. I got up after the class was cleared out and grabbed my books. I slowly walked to the front doors and walked out letting the sun hit my face. Did I mention how much I hated the sunlight? Well guess who was standing outside talking to andy? I walked past them with my books huddled close to my chest. I was secretly hoping that austin wouldn't notice because he was the last thing on my mind right now. I got about 15 feet away when I heard fast footsteps approaching me and a hand on my shoulder. I turned around saw what I least wanted to see. Austin was standing behind me with a slight smile on his face as he asked

"where are you going and why are you walking so fast?"

I looked down at the books pressed closely to my chest and mumbled

"oh austin, you have so much to learn about me." I slowly turned on my heels and began walking towards my house that I dreaded so much. I walked in and was greeted with a punch to the face.

"WHAT THE H- DAD?"
