"It's not my blood." She claimed. Even though I didn't know her, it was sort of a relief.

"Why aren't you scared? I'm a stranger who just kidnapped you." I admitted.

"Well since this Hunter's Game thing is the norm for us, I think if you're not going to kill me, this won't be the most dangerous thing to happen to me."

"Can I trust you?"

"That's a good question." She went into the cabinet and cleaned herself up. In this time, I decided to wash my hands. She still hadn't answered my question.

"My name's Reign, Reign Demetria. This is my house, so I just happen to know which windows and doors open, and how to be quiet about."

"Well, you can trust me to stick with you." This was the response I'd been waiting to hear. I stepped up onto the rim of the toilet, and pushed up on the window.

"Think you can fit through there? There's an air vent you'll land on, on the other side." The girl popped her knuckled and stretched an intense, but expeditious stretch. Then she moved me aside.

"Of course, I can fit through this." I followed when she gave me a whistle. The grass looked of a pale green. There were some patches that just couldn't grow. The skinny trees were so close to us that they gave our shoulders a good scratch. We crept through the backyard and into the alley. As we made our expedition, we told some stories about our past life, shared some laughs. Her mom died when she was 7. It was just her and her dad until it turns out he was planning to move and didn't tell her. She said they never had enough money for anything, so he chose himself over her. She didn't seem so bad, and she even gave me tips on fighting. I looked like she had been in this alone way longer than I had.

On a spur moment, the girl was tackled by some strange being. She pushed him off and pinned him to the ground. However, it was no use, he pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the stomach. She crouched down into the fetus position, moaning. I stepped up before he could try to make another move. At full force, I swung at him and knock the sucker unconscious for a few minutes.

"Hey," I approached calmly, "where did he get you?" the girl tried to make a sound.

"Missed...anything...important...but," then she caught her breath and stood up effortlessly, "he stabbed my good soda, that son of a bitch."

"What the hell, dude? I thought y-" without a warning, a knife skimmed the both of us and hit the wall. I turned around with one eyebrow raised. It was the same guy who was supposed to be unconscious.
