"I'm on her tail," a courtier spoke into his own magic globe.
"Follow her," Edward said. "But don't interfere with her plans. I want to see how far they get..."
"Yes, sir!" The courtier crept around the corner and followed the sound of Violet's footsteps, turning himself invisible.

Violet opened the last door on the hallway, and jumped inside, dropping the bomb bag on the floor, and lay on the floor, turning visible. "Tired," she panted.
"Violet?" Thomas asked, seeing her dressed in black leathers, her blond hair pulled in a bun.
"Thomas!" Violet jumped up, and ran towards him.
"Wait, why are you in a box?" she asked, looking puzzled.
"Edward's tort-" Thomas stopped himself, not wanting Violet to know he had been tortured a lot, even though she probably figured that out already.
"I still have one last bomb," Harvey said, pulling a bomb out of his coat. "We can blow this thing up, and run!"
"Do it," Violet said. Thomas back up to the farthest wall in the box, as Harvey placed the bomb on the front wall of the box, and snapped his fingers.
Thomas coughed, a cloud of dust forming. "C'mon!" Violet grabbed Thomas' arm, and thrust him towards Everett. "Keep him safe," she whispered in Everett's ear. Everett nodded.
Harvey led the group as they ran down the hallway. Violet snapped her fingers, and all the bombs she had placed went off at once.
"Gotcha!" The courtier who had been watched Violet grabbed her arm. Violet screamed. She struggled against his grip, but couldn't be freed.
"Violet!" Thomas called.
"Keep going!" Violet shouted back. Thomas looked like he was about to argue, but Everett pulled him into a pink protection bubble. Thomas tried breaking the bubble, but couldn't.
Harvey looked back at Violet. Violet nodded her head, and mouth the words, "Take him, please."
Harvey frowned, then nodded, and pulled Simon into his protection bubble as well.
The courtier picked Violet up, and rushed down the hallway, towards the main doors. Violet didn't even try to struggle. Thomas would either get out with or without her. Either way, he should be freed.
The courtier dropped Violet on the ground just outside the black palace. Edward appeared beside him, cursing aloud.
Courtiers and guards raced after the group. Violet knew they would get out. Just not with her...
Harvey, Simon, Everett, and Thomas leaped through the portal just as courtiers caught up to them. Violet raised her hand in the air, and created a locking spell on the portal, allowing no one to get through for one day, hoping that would be long enough for Harvey to destroy the portal.
Edward peered at Violet. She finished the spell, and started to cry. At least Thomas would have a happy life....
"A locking spell even I can't break. Well done," Edward snarled at her. "Take her to the bedchamber," he looked at the courtier. The courtier nodded, and picked Violet up.
