Violet, Simon, Everett, and Harvey arrived in the Grasmere forest three hours later.
Violet stopped her horse by the river bank. There were still hoof prints from the horses, the water bank still had scratches and dirt was smeared from when the coach had crashed. Violet cried silently, in her mind so hard she felt as though passing out, and waking up next to Thomas.
"Violet!" Harvey called to Violet from the forest path. "Hurry!"
Violet raced her horse towards him, and they headed off into the forest.
While Violet was riding, she also saw smears of dirt on the forest floor, as if someone had been dragged here. She immediately thought of Thomas, and looked up towards the trees.
"This is it," Simon whispered, approaching a very specific tree. He rubbed his hand over the bark, and it rippled as though the bark had been turned into water.
Simon tied his horse to another tree, and everyone else followed.
After all the horses were tied up, Simon was about to step through the tree when, "Wait!" Harvey whisper shouted. "All of us need to turn invisible, and create the protection bubbles,"
Violet and Everett disappeared first, followed by Simon, then Harvey. Then, they all created the protection bubbles.
Simon stepped through the tree first, then Everett, Harvey, and Violet.
Violet's mouth opened when she saw the Kingdom Violet. There were flowerbeds filled with purple violets. Just beyond that, was a jagged black palace. It made Violet think of the Kingdom Britania, but that thought was shattered when she remembered that Thomas was here. She was one step closer to saving him......
"In here," Harvey whispered, opening the palace main doors. All of them floated in.
The main hall were empty, eerily empty. Harvey opened a closet, and fit inside. Everett squeezed beside him, and Violet and Simon followed. Once Violet shut the door, the group turned visible.
"Alright, here's where we split ways," Harvey whispered. "Violet?" He handed her a bag full of bombs. "I need you to put these all around the palace. All you do is put one on the wall, press the red button, and they all will go off with one snap of your finger. Got it?" Violet nodded, taking the bombs. They were 3-D circles with a big, red button in the center.
"Simon and Everett?" Harvey continued his orders. "After we put on our disguises as guards, let's go find where they have Thomas at. Sound good?" Both Simon and Everett nodded.
"Good," Harvey sighed. "Are we all ready?" Violet, Simon, and Everett all nodded. Harvey smiled. "Let's go, team!"
Violet turned invisible, and snuck out of the closet. She turned the bag of bombs invisible, and stuck one on the nearest wall, and pushed the red button. She smiled, hoping that they got out first, before blowing the place to bits.
