We both counted as we held each others hands and ran through the fire.

"Mommy"Aaliyah called

"Daddy" Marie called.

Crystal grabbed all 3 of them.

"Are you guys okay?"Crystal cried touching each of their faces.

She hugged them all.

Then grabbed Jay from Aaliyah.

Kissing Jay's forehead as he continued crying.

"Daddy" Aaliyah and Marie came up to me crying.

"I'm sorry" I picked them both up while Crystals held Jay.

As tears slid down my face.

Aaliyah held onto my head.

"I'm sorry"  I Cried.

"Daddy I'm scared" Marie cried trying to get up higher on me.

"Jacob!" Crystal called me scared as well as the fire came closer surrounding us.

Crystal got closer to me standing in between my arms which was holding Marie and Aaliyah.

"Jacob what are we gonna do?!" Crystal screamed.

"Crystal you gotta be strong for our kids"  I said.

"Okay" she nodded kissing my lips.

"Baby girl don't cry" I said as I felt Crystal tear on my cheek as our lips were still together.

"I love you" I kissed her forehead.

The flames were now aggressive ready to burn any and everything in its way.

And Its now coming upon us.

"Close your eyes and just let go" I said and they all listened to me and I also followed my instructions as well.

"And think and dream of better things and a better place" I said.

"And even you open your eyes You'll be there on 3 you'll be there" I said

"1...2...." I counted but stopping.

Opening my eyes due to hearing Sirans and someone come in Shouting.

"GO GO!!" A man sprayed the fire down while the other 2 other firemen came inside grabbing up taking us to safety.

We were tooken outside and in the street looking at the burning house.

"Daddy"  Aaliyah pulled on me.

"Yes" I looked down only to see holding her neck I guess  struggling to breathe and before I could react she passed out.

"Aaliyah!" Crystal screamed as Aaliyah fell almost on the ground but into my arms.

"Baby I'm here I'm with you Aaliyah"Crystal  grabbed her with the free hand she had from holding Jay.

The ambulance then saw us so came over and took Aaliyah putting her on the EMS truck.

"Aaliyah!!" Crystal gave me Jay and tried to get on the truck.

"Please you have to wait" One of the doctors told her pushing her back.

"that's my baby" Crystal cried still wanting to see her but they closed the door only exposed that she was on the breathing machine.
