Trial Day

A month later...

~Trial Day~

Today is Jacobs trial day finally so me and Jacobs lawyer gotta go to court at 1.

It's been really hard for me to take care of my girls alone so Miss Tish helped and babysat along with my mother.

So I was getting dressed for to go to court in my white blouse and black pencil skirt and black red bottom heels with my hair curled and red lipstick with foundation and mascara on.

Jacobs lawyer was already there early while I was still getting dressed.

I already dressed Aaliyah and Marie already but they both were sleep.

I gave myself 1 more look before carrying Aaliyah out to the car in 1 arm and holding Marie car seat taking her out.

I buckled them both out and closed the door before getting in the drivers seat.

Then getting a text.

"Hey Goregous."  the message read.

I know I promised Jacob I wouldn't move on and stuff.

But I met this guy and his name is Emmanuel.

Well I didn't just meet him because we used to go to school together in 3rd and 4th grade until I moved.

We used to flirt all the time.

I mean me and his brother did too but that was because I couldn't tell the difference between them they are twins.

He got my first kiss from him.

"Hey E" I replied back.

"but I'm driving so just call me" I said. sitting my phone down on the seat and starting the car up.

Before getting a call.

"wassup Crystal" 

"Hey Emmonye"  I said as Emmanuel twin brother spoke.

"Hey Beautiful what you doing?" Emmonye kept talking.

"just driving..." I talked before heard them 2 fighting.

"Hello" I heard Emmanuel voice.

"yall 2 still be fightin I hear" I laughed.

"Yeah we are still kids at heart but Emmonye gotta get his own damn house" he laughed.

"but what you doing?" he asked.

"pulling up to this building about to see what I gotta do to get Jacob out of Jail" I said.

"I hope you are able to get him out" he said.

"Thanks man" I said opening the doors of my back seat holding the phone between my ear and shoulder picking Aaliyah up.

And my mom came to my car and got Marie out and carry her I'm for me.

We walked in and Aaliyah started to wake up.

"Aaliyah you woke" I looked at her face and she nodded and rubbed her eyes.

"wanna get down?" I asked her and she shook her head.

So I went up to the lawyer and he told me all what he had and that he was gonna try his hardest to get Jacob out for me I hugged him and thanked him.

Before heard the police  come.

I turned and saw Jacob standing behind them.

"Jacob" I ran up to him as tears came down my face.
