I woke up the next day and I was exhausted. I definitely did not get enough sleep. I shuffled around in bed until I was out. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

My hair was kinda flat so I decided to throw it into a french braid. After that I grabbed a maroon sweater and black leggings. I tossed them on. After that I went to my vanity to apply my makeup. I put on some mascara to my green eyes and a little bit of eyeliner. I liked to stay as natural as possible.

Once I finished that I went to find my brown knee high boots and shoved those on. The time was 7:45. I didn't have enough time to do anything else so I picked up my backpack and phone and left. I would have told my grandma goodbye but she was still sleeping.

I made it just in time to the coffee shop. I walked in and saw her sitting next to a boy. She waved me over. "Hey Zora, this is Cody, my boyfriend." She pointed at the guy next to her. He was blonde and had blue eyes. He was attractive but nothing near the guy I saw yesterday.

"Hi, Cody. It's nice to meet you." I said with a smile. He smiled back, "nice to meet you, too. You know yesterday Leanne kept talking nonstop about you. She's really excited about you coming and meeting the rest of the group." Cody told me.

I laughed. Leanne gave Cody the death glare, "now you made it seem like I'm obsessed with her." She yelled at Cody. "Sorry, I'm just not used to meeting new people here." She told me. "It's all good, I understand" I reassured her.

"Im gonna order some coffee. Do you guys want anything?" I asked. They both shook their heads no. I walked over to the cashier and got a frappe. I love coffee.

I took my drink and headed back to the table. We sat there and talked for a few minutes. I learned that Cody and Leanne have been together for almost 4 years now. Lucky them. I've never even had a boyfriend.

The two of them also both worked at this coffee shop, it's owned by Cody's Dad. They like to use this place as a hangout spot with all their friends. They usually spend most days together.

It was now about 8:30. "I think we should leave now, especially if we want a parking spot." Cody said. "Okay, let's go" Leanne said. We walked out and behind the shop.

Cody hopped into the drivers seat of a black car and Leanne hopped into the passenger side. I decided to slide in too, otherwise I'd be left. I got in in the back.

Leanne turned on the radio. As a song started playing Leanne and Cody started dancing and singing. They were definitely comfortable around each other. I laughed and joined them.

Shortly after we arrived at school. The school was huge, it was 3 stories high. The whole building was glass. It was beautiful. "Woah. Why is the school so big if there's not that many people in this city?" I asked.

"Because this city has nothing better to do than build things to look nice. The city likes to throw all their money on this school so we have everything we want." Leanne faced me and told me. "Oh okay," I said as we all got out the car.

"Hey let me take Zora to the main office to claim her schedule and I'll meet up with you later?" Leanne told Cody. "Yeah just text me," He told Leanne. Leanne smiled at me and grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the school.

The school was beautiful in the inside too. We took a left and entered another set of double doors that led to a hallway full of more doors and at the end of the hall were a set of stairs. We walked all the way down the hall and entered the last door on the right.

"Hi Mrs.Helton!" Leanne smiled. "This is Zora, she's new and needs her schedule."

"She'll get you your classes and I'll drop you off to your first class." Leanne confirmed. "Here ya go,Zora" said the lady in front of me while handing me my schedule.
