My eyes snapped open, I could hear someone approaching my room. I layed still waiting for them to enter. The moonlight pierced into my room. I heard the door creek open "Myrcella?" No louder than a whisper, I turned to see my little brother "Tommen what are you doing?" "I can't sleep" his eyes looked tired and he looked weak, he started walking closer to the bed, I lifted the covers over and tucked them over him. I stared into the darkness, the only sound that filled the silence was the faint noises of Tommens breaths.

"Are you scared?" I tuned my head to him "What about?" "We leave for Winterfell soon." I faced the ceiling again "no, what's there to be scared of?" "Joffrey told me that the northerners can turn to wolves then they feast on our flesh" I rolled my eyes "don't listen to that nonsense, he's just trying to scare you. Father is good friends with Ned Stark, they fought in the war together" Tommen buried his face into my hair and pulled the covers up to his chin, I smiled at my brother he always came into my room if he couldn't sleep, sometimes it even let me sleep better.

When I woke up, Tommen was gone, if my maids found him they would usually carry him back to his bed, I walked over to the window and glanced out, the water was clear and sparkling. My maid soon returned and helped me into one of my dresses. I started walking to the dining hall to join my family for breakfast. "Mrycella!" I heard a familiar voice I looked to the head of the table to see my father, he never usually joined us for meals. I smiled and then quickly sat down in between both of my brothers.

After breakfast my mother insisted we visit the sept, Joffrey and Tommen came along aswell. Joffrey looked at all the common people in disgust he held a cloth over his nose. I looked around at all the people they were busy getting on with their work.

When we reached the sept a few other people were already there. I could hear "your grace" being echoed by everyone there. I followed my mother and brothers, I looked around at all seven of the gods statues, they stood tall in the sept. Joffrey rolled his eyes, he was never interested in anything unless he was tormenting something or someone.

When we returned to the Red Keep my mother took me back to her chambers. She showed me lots of dresses she had just had made for me. There was a few different colours, pinks, blues and greens but all of them had Lannister gold on them, my mother usually insisted, it was how she marked her territory I guessed. "How do you like them?" My mother spoke in a soft, gentle voice, she always did when she was with her children "there exquisite, thank you" she smiled at me, before she told the maids to pack them.

It was soon the day that we set off to Winterfell, mother had told me that it would take at least a month, because it was so far North. I glanced back at the Red keep, my home before I stepped into the carriage with my Mother, Tommen and his nursemaid. Joffrey was riding with father and Jamie. The atmosphere was stiff in the carriage, no one spoke, I nervously fiddled with my dress, the time passed slowly but we finally set up camp, I could already feel the change in temperature, it was definitely cooler we were only 30 miles away from Kingslanding, but everything was different.

There was still a few hours of daylight left, I walked along the river bank, the water shimmered as the last rays of light which were soon departing from the sky. I picked up some stones and started skimming them along the waters edge, I could always do it, Tommen couldn't neither could Joffrey. I watched them bounce along the rivers surface. "Princess Myrcella" I turned to see a guard "the Queen wants you to come back to the camp now." He held out his hand to me and helped me up, I thanked him and went to find my mother.
