I stared out across the moors of Winterfell as my father and other rode off to Kinglanding, with my brothers but without me. Lady Catelyn had stayed with Bran. But Ned, Sansa and Arya had left aswell. I stood in the silent courtyard with Robb, Jon and Theon. There were a few servants stood there but everyone else was gone. I already felt lonely.
I eventually turned back towards the castle, when I realised Robb was the only one left in the courtyard, he gave me a slight smile, I returned it to be polite but I think we were both pretending. "May I walk you back to your chambers?" He asked slightly unsure, "yes my lord" there were a few moments of silence between us, which I preferred because I never knew what to say to him. He finally spoke "I think that we should call each other by name, rather than titles, it could make it easier for us to get to know each other" I nodded my head "yes, it does sound a good idea." We finally got to my chambers "well goodbye Myrcella" I smiled "goodbye Robb" he started walking down the corridor, I went into my room and closed the door, I finally felt free of everything that was forced onto me. But I knew it would only last a few hours before I came back to reality.
The next morning Robb had invited me to go riding with him, I was sure his mother was telling him to do things because he never seemed to willing or enthusiastic about it, that's the only thing we shared. I put on my riding dress and then went down to the courtyard, my horse, Fern was already ready to ride. Robb helped me up onto her and then he climbed up onto his. His direwolf followed us, anyone else would be terrified of him, but there was something to him that I trusted, he would never do anything Robb didn't tell him to do, he obeyed his master. I suppose in a way I trusted Robb.
We had been riding for about half an hour, "how is Bran?" I tried to say in a confident voice, Robb turned back to me as though he had been in deep thought "Maester Luwin says the worst is over, he's not going to die I know it" "that's good, will he be able to walk" Robb looked down at the reigns in his hands "it doesn't look very promising, we will have to wait until he wakes up." We both then looked away from each other, every conversation seemed exhausting.
When we arrived back in Winterfell, my maids helped me get changed. I had found out that Robb had invited me to have dinner with him, I didn't want to I didn't want to sit opposite him. What would we talk about? I started nervously walking down the corridor until I got to his chambers, I was unsure of what to do. I gave a faint knock on the door, Robb soon answered it and opened the door for me to come in. His direwolf layed by the fire, Robb saw me looking at him. "I can send him out if you want" "no it's fine, he can stay" I didn't want to be completely left alone with Robb, we both needed at least one distraction.
We hardly spoke all night, he asked me about Kingslanding and my family, and I asked the same about Winterfell. We both knew that we didn't want to talk but it was expected of us. The more we got to know each other now the easier it would be when we married. I started to dread that day... The deal would then be sealed once we had said our vows to each other, to spend the rest of our days together.
