That night I couldn't get those word out of my head "you are being given to the wolves" it was two days until my family were going to travel back to Kingslanding, I went to find Tommen. As I was wandering round the halls, I could hear two people talking, I peered round the corner to see Robb and Another, who I didn't recognise. I stayed hidden, I couldn't face him. "I can't believe I have to marry her" "why what's wrong with her?" "Well firstly she's the sister of Joffrey, who's a right royal prick, and secondly I don't even know her" "well you will eventually once you're married" "it's okay for you Theon, you don't have to marry her."
They were soon out of my earshot. I slumped back against the cold stone wall, he hates me, I'm being left with a family I don't know and someone I have to marry who hates me. I could hear someone approaching "Myrcella?" I looked up to see Lady Catelyn "I'm sorry I was just going to find Tommen. She gave me a warm hearted smile, "come on we will go and have breakfast together" I followed her through the halls until we came to her chambers. She had a selection of different foods spread out. I sat down nervously next to her "I remember when I first married Ned, we were two strangers and he brought me to Winterfell, I was terrified" she let out a small laugh, I smiled back "I hated it at first, the people, the cold, everything" I wondered were she was going with this "but, me and Ned soon fell in love and I realised it was the perfect match, just like you and Robb will be" I stared down at me hands that rested in my lap.
"But he hates me" Catelyn furrowed her brows "I heard him talking to... Theon" "did you actually hear him say that he hated you?" "No... But" "well then, he doesn't hate you, you both just don't know each other yet. She did have a point "well how do I get to know him?" Catelyn's smile grew "you learn things about each other, you spend time together, it won't always be this difficult" Catelyn tried to reassure me. A boy rushed in "My Lady! Come quickly it's Bran!" Catelyn jumped up and followed the boy out of the room, leaving me alone, I wondered what to do, what could of happened. I followed them out to the courtyard, a huge man was carrying Bran in his arms, he was unconscious, Robb and Jon soon came into the courtyard "what happened?" Robb yelled "we found him laying on the ground, he fell from the tower" a scruffy looking woman yelled, she was dressed in rags and her hair was matted.
"Carry him inside!" Ned yelled, they took Bran into the castle. Catelyn was fussing over him, she was in a terrible state. I stood there helplessly just staring at eveyone looking around. I could see Robb in the corner of my eye looking in my direction, when I looked up he looked away and went into the castle with everyone else.
I tried to find my mother, I went to her chambers I could hear her speaking to someone "why did you do that? If he wakes up then everyone will know!" "Shh he won't wake up he won't tell anyone, no one will ever know" I knocked on the door, my mother shouted me in, my uncle Jamie was there. My mother paced up and down "Myrcella" my mother hugged me tightly and kissed me on the forehead "that will be all" she sent Jamie away "Brans unconscious, is he going to die?" "I... I don't know" "I don't want to stay here, I want to come with you" my mother gave me a smile, but I could see her eyes were watering as she tried to stop bursting into tears "I don't want to leave you... But your father has made up his mind" her eyes seemed to narrow as she spoke of him.
I hugged my mother tightly burying my face into her soft, golden curls. I didn't even care that I was crying, I wanted her to desperately stay with me, I never wanted her to leave. I didn't want to stay behind in Winterfell all alone.
When I left her room, my eyes were stinging, my cheeks were red and I was still blubbering. I started walking back to my room, I turned the corner to go up the stairs, when I suddenly crashed into someone. "Oh... I'm sorry" I looked up to see Robb, he looked surprised when he saw me "it was my fault, my lady" I thought he would just walk away but he stood there staring at me, I looked down, unsure what to do. "Why are you crying?" I looked up at him. "I'm just going to miss my family when they leave tomorrow" he nodded "goodnight my lady" he walked down the corridor and soon disappeared. I hoped not every time we spoke it was as uncomfortable.
