hayden quickly jumps back with amazing speed. my sharingan activates to scan his speed. then he disappears. "huh?" i say. then he reappears behind baru, then he makes some hand signs: ox, rabbit, monkey. "what?" i say. then he puts out his hand right behind baru. "chidori!" he yells, then he shoves his arm into him. "the winner i-" but he is interupted from baru twisting his neck around and his joints clincking. "wait, is that clinking?" i say. then the flesh starts to peel off of baru.
"uh! a puppet!?" hayden yells. hayden then teleports away onto the giant stone hand. "so your a puppet user." says hayden observantly. then baru comes out of the ground behind his puppet. "yep. then he pulls out a summoning scroll. "summoning jutsu!" he yells opening it. then two other puppets appear on the battlefield. the first one is a strange looking humanoid figure of a puppet, and another looks like a crocodile, then the last one looks like an owl.
"alright, lets do this!" yells baru waving his hands around, then i notice the strings made of chakra. then the owl jumps and begins to fly around the arena, then the crocodile starts to crawl very quickly towards hayden, and the humanoid lunges for him. i watch the owl and see its wing then opens up with a blade, allowing it to slice through many things. then i see the crocodile start to crawl up the wall, and its jaw opens with large scissors with jagged blades like teeth.
the humanoid one opens its arms wide for what looks like a hug, it tries to grab hayden but he jumps on the humanoid puppet and they both go down, hayden lands on the puppet and breaks its chest open. he then looks to his left and sees the owl about to cut him in half. he quickly maneuvers through this and ducks under the blade wing. then the puppet under him grabs him and the crocodile jumps from the wall and bites his arm, blood sprays all over the ground and the humanoid puppet lets go.
him and the crocodile fall down the steps and land on the ground. hayden then sees the owl above him ready to land on him with hammer legs. with haydens remaining strength he pulls the crocodile in the way of the hammer feet and it shatters the crocodiles head, the blade lets go of his injured arm and hayden then makes some hand signs: ox, rabbit, monkey. then lightning engulfs his hand and stabs it into the owls head and pulls it down.
the owl lashes out wildly like it was actually alive, it then pulls up and hayden goes with it and then uses his dangling legs to swing it into the wall. the owl then goes down and crashes on top of hayden. for a moment, hayden didn't move, then, he starts to struggle to get up. "c'mon!" yells rue. hayden then pushes the owl off of him. he gets up, exhausted from fighting with the puppets. then the humanoid jumps up and then flies at him with its blades. hayden then makes a hand sign: tiger. "lightning style paralyzing projectiles!" he yells then shoots a few small lightning bolts, except not at the puppet, at Baru! they all hit him and his puppet falls over.
"no!" yells baru. then hayden makes the finishing hand signs: Ox, rabbit, monkey. "Lightning blade!" he yells then his hand gets a huge amount of uncontrollable lightning, the lights in the arena all flicker on and off, then he jumps and then slams it into baru, baru gets blown back and lands face first on the ground when he stops. "the winner of this match is hayden hatake." says the proctor.
the next match is being paired up, "mina senju vs. inari yamanaka." the proctor yells as soon as the two are paired. they both walk out onto the battlefield, "Begin!" yells the proctor. mina starts off by making a hand sign: serpent. "earth style: mud wave!" she yells. then slams her hand onto the ground. the ground starts to ripple like water. inari looses her balance and falls over. then mina makes a few more hand signs: ram, ox, boar, snake. "wood style: Four Pillar Prison Technique!" yells mina. what? why does she have that? i think. then inari gets surrounded by a wooden cage. "no!" inari yells. then i see her teleport behind mina, she karate chops the back of her neck but then becomes a wooden clone.
inari then looks around frantically for mina, but then mina appears right in front of inari and punches her face. inari goes flying into the wall. then a few clones fly from the dust, mina then makes a few hand signs: boar, dog, horse, tiger, snake. "wood style: wood spikes!" yells mina. then wood spikes appear out of the ground and make the clones disappears. then the dust settles where inari hit the wall and we see her finish her hand signs. "mind destruction jutsu!" she yells, then mina collapses from something. inari then runs over and starts to punch her in the face, kicking her too.
then mina stops the kicking by swinging her leg under inari's and tripping her. mina then puts her arm above inari's head and slams it down, inari's head then slams against the ground and knocks her out. "the winner is mina senju." the proctor says. after they clean all the rubble of the arena i look around and see that there are only four people that haven't fought yet. the four pictures left then choose two and leave the last two, its shikaru nara vs. gikachi.
shikaru walks down to the battlefield from his team, so does gikachi, i look at gikachi's team, other than baru, theirs Yuri, so there are gikachi, yuri, and baru, there a dangerous pair, i'm glad i didn't fight them in the second part of the exam. both shikaru and gikachi are ready, "both combatants ready? battle begin!" yells the proctor.
