as soon as gidoro walks down and stands right in front of me, I've got somewhat of a plan, dont let him summon his weapons. "both combatants ready?" the proctor asks looking at us both. i nod, and so does gidoro. "Battle Begin!" the proctor yells. gidoro starts by loosening his headband and putting it over his eyes. "shoot." i say. well, genjutsu isn't gonna help me during this fight, i think. i then pull out a kunai and start to swipe at him, he dodges with perfect reflexes.
he then does a back flip and kicks the kunai out of my hand, he then pulls out a scroll and swipes his unwrapped finger on the scroll. then a poof of smoke, i jump back and make some hand signs: snake, tiger, monkey, boar, horse, tiger. "fire style: fireball jutsu!" i yell, i shoot the blast of flames and blows through the cloud of smoke, but no explosion. i then see a shadow above me. i look up and see his about to stab through me with all of his katana. i then dodge by falling back, i then do a hand stand and land on my feet.
then i see him running at me again. i quickly pull out two kunai and start to deflect each blade to save my skin. but then one of the blades flies at my neck, i duck and quickly swipe my foot across the dirt, i trip him and then jump, i makes some hand signs: ox, rabbit, monkey. "chidori!" i yell and then fall down, "just be gone already!" i yell. but then gidoro grabs all of his katana and put them up on his chest like spikes. i then use my chidori as a shield, but it doesn't help me for what comes next, all of his katana stab into me.
a few of them pierce all the way through me. i then see my chidori still active, i then slam it into his chest. blood flies everywhere from both of us. we both fall to the side. me, looking like a porcupine with all of these blades. i start to pull them out when gidoro starts to get up, i start to feel dizzy. then gidoro kicks me in the side, one of the blades in me cuts more than before. i scream in pain and tear out the blade. i then hold it with weak hands, when gidoro gets close i then stab it through his stomach. he screams in pain and falls back.
i then use the blade as a current, i force lightning style chakra through it and it starts to cook him from the inside out, he screams from the shock and then from the poison, i start to loose my balance. i fall over. but im still awake, i then see gidoro starts to fall asleep too. i then start to slip away, is this how im gonna die? no, i refuse! i then start to force myself to get up. i start to lift up but the poison is too much. but then gidoro falls asleep. "the winner by default is kevin uchiha!" yells the proctor, the crowd cheers for joy that there bets payed off.
but then i collapse from exhaustion, blood loss, and poison... i wake up about 2 hours later and see i'm bandaged up and i'm pretty badly injured, i guess i didn't notice how much pain i was in earlier. then i see sensei in the room with mina and tadashi. "good job!" says tadashi giving a thumbs up and a smile. "we almost lost you to the poison." says sensei. mina then walks over and smacks my cheek, i look at her. "dont ever get that beat up again, you didnt think of all of us in the crowd." she says. i nod rubbing my cheek
then i feel a stabbing pain in my side, i grab at it in attempt to make it stop but it just keeps going, its excruciating. then the nurse comes in. "are you in pain?" she asks, it takes everything in me not to say something like "oh yeah i feel fine." but i dont. she then pulls out a bottle of pills, she hands me a pill and a glass of water. "here you go." she says with a smile, i smile back as if i wasn't in pain, but i really am. then the hokage walks into the room.
he has something behind his back, "well kevin, since you did very well in the chunin exams, here you go, he puts his hands out and reveals what he was holding, a chunin vest, its green and has many pockets and a swirly symbol on the back, i see a lot of people wearing them lately. i reach out and grab it, it's a little bit heavier than i expected, i then put it on my bed side table. "thank you lord hokage." i say with a smile. "your very welcome, by the way, when your done healing, i would like you and your team to go on a special mission, its been estimated that there might be some combat involved but im sure that you can handle it.

i then see the nurse come in and escort everyone out. i see tadashi and mina through the window, they wave good bye and i return the same gesture. then the nurse tells me to lay down so i can get some rest. i lay back onto the soft pillow with my very nice hospital bed. then she then gives me a pill and i drink water to wash it down, i then start to slowly drift off into the world where everything isn't, real, where dreams feel like reality...
