Camouflage Secret (Cirque Du Freak Fanfiction) (Evra Von x Oc)

Chapter 2: Hello

Evra's POV

I woke up as a small hole in the tent aimed the sun right at my eye. I rolled out of my hammock and looked at Darren. I then nudged him and saw his eyes open. He then got up and yawned. 

Smiling I looked at my snake, fed her, then stretched as Darren got up and looked at me. "Come on. Or we'll miss breakfa-" I said but was cut off by a heart-wrenching explosion. 

Darren looked at me then we both ran out of the tent and saw a new tent right next to ours. We saw the little people finish setting it up as others then went into it in line with boxes and bags. 

"New people?" Darren asked. "I wasn't informed," I said shrugging. Then a person flew by us. More like launched. They caught themselves with the ground as they slammed their fingers into it. They then stood up. It was a girl.

She had weird spunky curly orange hair, a green visible eye (the other being covered by her hair) a light black vest that was open, a dark black chest cover that was sleeveless that showed her stomach, black and white striped loose clown pants, no shoes, and a sword. The sword had a black handle while the blade was green with green flames. She was breathing heavily and was chuckling.

Darren then shook me and pointed at the area the girl came from. We looked and saw two boys. They looked like twins. They had the same clothes as the girl but I guess the chest cover was to cover their nipples??? But instead of orange hair, they had white hair. They also had the same swords as each other, which was silver with a golden blade and yellow flames. And what caught me off guard was that they had buttons for eyes...

I then saw an orange flash pass by me at the corner of my eye. Darren and I stood watching as they began to have a sword fight. But this was intense. They moved so quickly it was blurry. They then stopped. The girl had another sword which she took out of nowhere. She had a sword aimed at both of the boy's necks. Then the sword disappeared. And they began to laugh??

Arturia's POV

We began to laugh and hug each other. We then bowed at each other then smiled. Suddenly my stomach alerted me to how hungry I was and it was quite loud. I blushed and then looked at the ground which I thought was so interesting at the moment. 

"Wanna get some food?" Klide asked. Klaus then put his arm around Klide and chucked. "Yeah Ary. Are you hungry today? Or is it a no? Just like yesterday? You know, you have to eat daily. You can't eat once every 2 days. I know what Mom said about keeping a slim physique like a proper lady, but you know you need to eat more. It's not healthy." Klaus said as he then walked to me and held a hand out. 

I took it then was surprised when Klaus put me on his shoulders and turned to Klide. "Come on," Klide said as he turned and walked to the tent that the little people set up. 

"ONWARDS LOYAL STEAD!!! ONWARDS-!!!!" I shouted but stopped as I saw two boys looking at us. They weren't far. Maybe 10 feet away. But still one of them looked like.........a successful experiment.....He makes me look like a failure..... he was part snake..he looked like a perfect version of the hybrid my father tried to create. 

He had green hair that had small hints of light lime and yellow. His skin looked like scales with a variety of greens and some light aqua teal...he had green eyes that resembled snake slits. And he only had some brown shorts on. 

The other boy on the other hand looked like a normal human. Except he smelt like....blood. Fresh animal blood... Klaus set me down and looked at me.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. A hybrid snake human, and a...vampire? No. A half-vampire? 'What the actual fuck???' I thought but kept a blank face. 

My brother put me down and I began to walk towards the boys as my brother followed not too far behind. When I stood 2 feet away from the boys and stopped, I felt my brothers stop 4 feet away.

I think they are part of the Cirque Du Freak. "Uh. Hi. I'm D-Darren Shan." The other boy said breaking the silence, as he cautiously held his hand out. 

I took my attention and looked at the boy named Darren. I then looked at his hand then in an instant shook it. But when I stopped shaking it he did too and looked at me. I kept my grip and began to squeeze his hand. He looked at it and then at me. Then he took his hand away by force. He was strong. 

"Half vampire. Cautious to hold back your strength while shaking someone's hand. Good call. But the stench of fresh fox blood on your lips from no more than yesterday night gives you away." I said as I took 2 steps back, put my hand on my heart, and bowed. 

I then looked up and met his eyes. He looked kinda scared and uncertain. I put my hands to my side and then sighed. "Hello. It is a pleasure to meet you, Darren Shan." I said.

I then looked at the snake-boy hybrid. I held my hand out but he hesitated. Then he took it and shook it. "Hello. My name is Evra Von." He said. "Von what?" I asked. "Just Von." He said.

I nodded then let his hand go. "Pardon my manners but, tell me Evra, were you born this way?" I asked as I circled him. "Yes. I was." He said as he kept turning to look at me. I then stopped and nodded. "Ok," I said then looked at Klide and Klaus.

They came over but stopped 2 feet away from me and the two boys. Then they bowed. As they rose they also smiled at the boys. "Hello. We are the Chastiefol twins. A pleasure." They said introducing themselves at the same time. 

"I'm Klide," Klide said. "I'm Klaus." The other responded as he then took a black cloth from within his vest. He threw the cloth at me and I caught it but instead of the cloth, I caught a black disk. The boys looked amazed as I turned and faced them again. 

I smirked then threw the disk in the air. But when it fell it extended into a top hat with a white ribbon around it. I caught it, flipped it, and put it atop my head.

"I am Artoria Chastiefol. But others know me as, Medusa the Bewitched Green Serpent. You may call me Medusa." I said as I bowed and then walked past them. They had such bewildered expressions I almost laughed. Still, I can't overlook that snake boy.
