Chapter 10: Pt.2 leaving

Artorias POV

After Darren and I got Evra to their tent I went over to my family's tent again and saw my family. What I noticed more was that Klide was fighting a camera.

"Piece of shit!!! Work already..." I heard him out as he was on the floor trying to pull the lease cover off.

I also saw Klaus criss cross levitating with his back facing me. "Language." He said not noticing me.

Mother on the other hand was standing next to a wooden table covered with viles and beakers filled with different colored liquids. There was also a couple of jars with questionable ingredients.

She heard me and turned. She then hurried over to another table and jumped a bit. "Surprise!!!" She shouted.

I then saw a small cake. Klide stood up and stumbled a bit then took a picture of me. Klaus then grabbed me and put me on his shoulders.

"HAPPY TRAVELS!!!" They shouted. I almost cried when Klaus put me down. I then hugged them and they cried to.

This wold be my first time leaving without them for a long time. I smiled and they hurried me to the cake. Then Klide took a tripod out and put the camera on it.

He then put a timer and we all huddled behind the small table in front of the cake. After 2 pictures we began to celebrate my departure. I'm gonna miss everyone but I need to do this...

Mother began to cut the cake and gave me some. After another couple of words they wished me luck as mother gave me a potion.

They then grabbed lanterns on long polls and began to march behind me out of the tent. I led the way and headed to the woods. I heard more marching and turned to see everyone marching with candles lanterns and torches.

In the back I saw Darren holding Evra up who was a bit upset. I then stood in front of the woods and looked back at the circus.

"We wish you luck on your travels Artoria." Mr.Tall announced as he stood tall and bowed. I bowed back then faced the woods.

I threw the potion on the floor which glowed and formed a glowing blue portal. The other side of the portal was blurry and mysterious.

I then turned to look at everyone and saw Klide run at me then hand me one of the pictures. It was of all of us. I smiled and hugged him. Everyone gave me one last hug except Evra who stayed quit.

I was gonna say something to him but the portal was fading. "See you all as soon as possible!! I promise!!!!!" I shouted jumping threw the portal. 

When I go to the other side I saw portals opening around me and more fellow mages appearing and walking to a city full of magic and wonders.

I smiled and headed there myself...who knows what awaits....
